The coffee was disappointing. Very weak, barely any flavor. If it is actually Stumptown coffee then they need to add more to the pot! I have had Stumptown for many years ,it is good coffee. They did not do it justice. The chocolate chi
p cookie was crispy/ hard. Maybe that is how some people like them. I prefer chewy.
Nice atmosphere in the place though.

I paid $4 for a small cupcake that was very dry and stale. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I had a business meeting here and loved everything about it! Service was excellent, people are friendly, it is VERY clean, LOTS of sweet tooth options. I brought home 2 cupcakes and a piece of bread pudding amd everyone enjoyed them! While I do not live in New Haven, I would definitely take the 20 minute drive to get some sweets, have a cup or coffee....

Nine of my coworkers went to Katalina's and purchased coffee and treats; I was just meeting them for a few minutes... I had a tea in my hand from another establishment. The owner waited until we were getting ready to leave to confront me in front of everyone and tell me not to bring drinks from other places. Now, I understand that policy from a business-perspective, but the way she handled it was unprofessional and unnecessarily confrontational. I tried to apologize to her and explain some context, but she walked away while I was talking and glared at me from behind the counter. I had no problem with Katalina's before this but how this situation was handled was so rude that I don't think I feel comfortable coming back. Very disappointing.

Absolute must if you are looking for GF or vegan treats! Visiting my (vegan) parents, and I'm GF, so dessert options are typically limited - Selection here was great, products were delicious and fresh, and the person working here was incredibly sweet and helpful! Will definitely spread the word!! :)

I just had a vegan carrot cake cupcake. How in the world that was vegan, I just don't know. It was fantastic. One of the best carrot cake cupcakes I've had - vegan or not!

Delicious fresh baked goods daily. Unique flavors. Must try... you'll be hooked!
Best bakery in the zone..
Amazing cupcakes, not too sweet, a variety of flavors. Kathy the owner is creative with her baking and has a huge heart. Great coffee and atmosphere in the shop, and who can resist taking 6 or 12 cupcakes to go??
Enjoying wonderful dessert and had great time here!
I have a brownie and a cookie from there which was subpar. The brownies were very dry and flavorless. It did not taste like chocolate at all. Also, the cookies were very dry and hard with no softness or chew at all. I ended up having 2 bites and throwing it away unfortunately. There are many other good bakeries in terms of getting better quality baked goods. I am not a fan of the taste and texture which are lacking. And, it’s unfortunate that I couldn’t even finish it because it was so dry and tasting like nothing. The staff was friendly and nice. The place is cute and does have some seating. It’s just the pastries were not it sadly.
