I came to try this place because it was mentioned in the brochure for Lunar Fest 2024. Walking in, I was super excited to see such a variety of sweet treats and overwhelmed trying to decide what I wanted. I ended up getting a whoopie pie and oreo chocolate chip cookie. The whoopie pie was alright; it wasn't as moist as I anticipated and was falling apart. The flavor was also not good but not bad. The cookie was hard, dry, and crunchy, and there was not much oreo flavor.

Nine of my coworkers went to Katalina's and purchased coffee and treats; I was just meeting them for a few minutes... I had a tea in my hand from another establishment. The owner waited until we were getting ready to leave to confront me in front of everyone and tell me not to bring drinks from other places. Now, I understand that policy from a business-perspective, but the way she handled it was unprofessional and unnecessarily confrontational. I tried to apologize to her and explain some context, but she walked away while I was talking and glared at me from behind the counter. I had no problem with Katalina's before this but how this situation was handled was so rude that I don't think I feel comfortable coming back. Very disappointing.

Katalina's Kupcakes was able to fulfill a large catering order, and was very amiable throughout the ordering process until the pickup. The store bakers were very friendly and helpful in fulfilling our order; I was pleasantly surprised at their help in delivering the order. The food was well packaged for our event, and contained everything needed in order to run smoothly. Napkins, plates, hot cups, milk, sugar, teabags...I was very happy that everything was included! The food itself tasted very good! I loved the brownies a lot, and the attendees seemed to love the food as well. I have no complaints and I am very happy about this experience. I would definitely consider catering from Katalina's again :)

this place is great!!! they have a huge arrangement of options - cookies, cupcakes, cake, bars, cheesecake, etc! try the twix bar!!! so good! we loved the magic bar as well. they were extremely friendly!

I just had a vegan carrot cake cupcake. How in the world that was vegan, I just don't know. It was fantastic. One of the best carrot cake cupcakes I've had - vegan or not!

The cupcake and cakes are really dry. PLEASE BELIEVE EVERYONE WHO SAYS THIS TASTED LIKE IT WAS BAKED DAYS AGO. I tried the chocolate cake and cupcake and both were dry. The icing is decent, but if you want a cake that is smooth and soft and not hard and crumbly, this is not your place.

I was very hopeful in trying this bakery, and got a cupcake and slice of Katalina's namesake cake to go. Unfortunately, as soon as I tried the first bite of cake, my fork was having trouble getting through it as the cake was just that hard. Even after leaving the cake outside to warm up a bit, the slice tasted very stiff and bland with no flavor besides the sweetness of the frosting. It tasted not fresh and very stale, like it had been baked several days before. Not sure why, but very disappointed after trying.

I stopped in with my son on a cloudy June morning and had a chai latte and a raspberry oatmeal bar. Maria was so friendly and warm that I ended up staying and chatting for an hour or two. Delicious baked goods and amazing staff!
