The restaurant was excellent and it was a great setting. They were able to accommodate our request for a quiet setting for a business meeting. Even though some guests arrived quite late they were still extremely accommodating, and the food was delicious.

I went during restaurant week. I had leek soup, salmon and gluten free ricotta ravioli. Plus the chocolate mousse cake with amoretto cookies. All the food was excellent. The ambience was very nice. The noise level was quiet. I would highly recommend this restaurant

Once again L'Orcio impressed me with the fine food. The restaurant week menu offered great choices -- I had a very hard time deciding among the options. Everything was delicious. Serving sizes were large. This is one of my favorite restaurants in New Haven.

Our New Year’s Eve dinner exquisite in all ways which bodes well for a good year ahead!! From appetizer— farro salad, sardines to entrees -branzino covered with zucchini and cauliflower, to pasta with pesce de mare, to ricotta gnocchi all made to perfection with great flavor, texture and presentation. This is the sign of a fine restaurant with artistry!! Our deserts, rich chocolate cake and chocolate mousse both scrumptious. Everything so well prepared!Thank you, L’Orcio!!

Superb flavor and attention to detail. Everyone was pleased from the appetizers to our desserts! Mostly fish entrees for us and a gnocchi pasta made with ricotta which keeps it lighter. Chocolate cake was quite rich annd so flavorful annd chocolate mousse light and delish!! All was sooo good!!

Didn’t get the chance to taste the food due to poor management. Was booked for a large party for over a 3 weeks with the thought and conversation of a pre fixed menu. Management offered a ton of options, before ignoring emails and never responding. Called multiple times before reservation date and time, all to be turned down 24 hrs before reservation due to lack of communication. Was told 3 days before we were booked and just confirming menu, which was a lie and ignored. Heard the food is great, but will never know. Manager was extremely rude over the phone, and put a poor taste in our mouths. Do not book a large party here.
