The menu and evening specials are always consistent and rewarding. At times the staff can be inattentive and appear unhappy!!!!!! Wine listing is brief but reasonable for choices offered. Good ambience. Gem of a restaurant!
We had a very enjoyable dinner at L'Orcio this week. It was the perfect evening to dine outside on the patio. Our food was delicious and presented in an attractive manner. Kathleen, our server, did a great job and was very attentive. We were not rushed in any way. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you!
The food was absolutely delicious! I wish we lived in New Haven it would be on our list of dinner restaurants
A beautiful spot for any date night or occasion. Food was fabulous service was excellent... one of my favorites
Food was excellent, and appropriately timed between courses. Service was fast. Quiet atmosphere. Great sitting out on their patio.
We've dined at L'Orcio many times over the years. The food is always fresh and delicious, the service is always exemplary
This is a little gem of a neighborhood restaurant. Fresh seasonal food, creative dishes, friendly, and efficient service. Love it!
Had a lovely dinner at L'Orcio. Food was amazing and the gnocchi was the best I have ever had.
We really enjoyed celebrating Father's Day with authentic Italian food. Especially the fresh gnocchi with vodka sauce. Great service and atmosphere. Looking forward to returning when weather is nice to eat on the back patio.
We had high expectations, based on the reviews, and we were disappointed by both the quality of what was served to us and the manner in which it was served. The eggplant in the veggie antipasto and the octopus in that antipasto were burned. The pesto cream in the veggie antipasto was broken. Our pasta dish was served with our entrees, instead of as the second dish. The cocktails were good, but the wine list was not. In fact, the bottle we wanted to order was not available. The outdoor seating space was very nice.

Great authentic Italian food at a reasonable price. Not salty at all, which for some reason a lot of restaurants douse their food with. Great ambiance. We sat inside but there is outside seating also.
As always the food was wonderful. We sat down and waited for 15 minutes while the servers were talking in view. We ordered salad and didn't get it. She offered to bring it after our dinner. No Thanks.
Our entrees were outstanding: Gnocchi with red sauce, Gnocchi with vodka sauce both tasted like little puffy clouds! So delicious and so unique! The rigatoni was very good and the special of the day ravioli were good but undercooked for my taste. I like my pasta soft; not al dente. The Caesar Kale was a startling disappointment. Thought we'd enjoy a new take on the traditional greens but this was very tasteless and dry. We look forward to dining at L'Orcia again soon. You're one of our favorite italian restaurants in CT!
Amazing food and fantastic service. The appetizer salad special with shrimp and a limoncello vinaigrette was outstanding as were the gnocchi-so light! It can get a little loud (we were upstairs) when full, but not overwhelming. Would go again anytime!
Outstanding as always. Food is always consistently amazing. Everything is home made and wonderful....great quality of food.
