I like this place. They have excellent Italian desserts. I've been in New Haven for three years, and it has never disappointed me whenever I go there for a treat.

Thank you so much Lucibello’s for the beautiful and delicious wedding cake! We got the chocolate cake with raspberry filling and it could not have been better! We worked with Peter during our cake tasting and he helped us pick a design for the cake. He was easy to communicate with and made the process seamless. Our guests raved about the cannoli cake topper as well!

omg, I love your "pudding pies" I don't know how to spell the name you call them when I lived in Norwich we would always go for a ride to New Haven and get them !!! my brother still goes when he's in New Haven can't resist !!! Best Bakery

I had an issue with receiving the wrong item but was quickly resolved appropriately. Will be returning to buy no more delicious pastries.

This place is a New Haven institution. I am 46 years old and my family has been coming here religiously my entire life and before. The Italian pastries are outstanding. Yesterday, Christmas Eve, we bought a dozen pastries and two dozen cookies. Everything was perfect except the cannolis. The shells were burned and hard and not the typical light and flaky. The shells were actually brown they were so dark. I’m assuming this was a one off since it’s the holidays but I was disappointed to see it. I still highly recommend this bakery but check your pastries before you leave.

I usually have pictures of the food I review but these were so good I forgot to take pictures. The store isn't that large and the selection was moderate but the quality of what they had was phenomenal. Their desserts remind me of the Italian desserts from Italy when I was a kid.We got an assortment of mini desserts and the lobster tail Do yourself a favor and don't share the lobster tail. Yeah it's that good. My husband and I got one for the car ride back to NJ and we're so upset we only bought one. .I WILL be back for more. Worth a 4 hour drive.

Those cannoli were pure heaven! Could've eaten every last one, but my Yale cohort beat me to it (saved me from myself - though is cannoli overload even possible?)

Fran was the real star - treating us like old friends and going above and beyond with such care and warmth. What a perfect way to wrap up our seminar.

Would give it 1000 stars if I could. Thanks Fran and Lucibellos for making our final gathering so sweet!

The only negativity at this place is that they use an nespresso machine with pods to make an espresso.
But I must say the cannoli was absolutely amazing with shells, fried in house and a nice ricotta cream filling with chocolate chips. Definitely a must. Good job

Lucibello's is a wonderful bakery!! On this visit, I purchased two dozen miniature Italian pastries. They were absolutely delicious. I have also purchased cookie trays and anginettes in the past. The cookie tray presentation is beautiful and all of the cookies are delicious. At the party I went to on Saturday, my friends had a cake with Italian cream that they bought at Lucibello's. The cake was beautiful and delicious also!! The bakery is always spotless clean. The staff is very friendly and they wait on customers very quickly.
