We worked with Peter during our cake tasting and he helped us pick a design for the cake. He was easy to communicate with and made the process seamless. This place is a New Haven institution. I am 46 years old and my family has been coming here religiously my entire life and before. The Italian pastries are outstanding. Yesterday, Christmas Eve, we bought a dozen pastries and two dozen cookies. Everything was perfect except the cannolis. The shells were burned and hard and not the typical light and flaky.
