Apparently, MaMa Mary has sublet her Soul Food establishment to a foreign entity. I've always known it to be a black owned business, and I went there to give my support. The lady who answered the phone and took my order had an accent. When I went to pick it up, the same lady, who appeared to be Indian was at the cash register. An Indian young man brought my food out from the kitchen. The door to the kitchen swung open, and 3 Indians were behind the scenes. The food recipie was basically the same, except for the collard greens, which were bland...and what's with the apple cinnamon cornbread? It was dry and crumbly, no butter, no sugar. Two small dinners were $ 34.00. All I can say is, MaMa Mary, please don't sell your soul!

This was my 1st time eating there. The manager or owner Sabrina was hands on, extremely nice and checked on us regularly. The service was excellent. I got fried shrimp and French fries with a side of Mac n cheese, I was a little disappointed in the Mac n cheese. Idk if it was the cheese, but hopefully they will work on improving it. Everything else was good. The iced tea was good (not too sweet). My mom enjoyed her pork chops, collard greens and sweet potatoes. My cousin got the barbecue wings, he enjoyed them. And my god mother got some barbecue pork, I think and she liked it. I will go back and maybe get the smothered chicken. It looked delicious.

I'm a big foodie, so i love trying different food from different places. I ordered the mac and cheese , friedfish, blackeyepeas with rice, mac tasted nasty.fish was okay , I wouldn't ordered that dish again.

Ordered fried whitings, cabbage, mac and cheese and potato salad corn bread. Cabbage and potato salad was on point. That mac n cheese was giving kraft/ velvetta that def was not it. The fish was juicy and tender inside, it was bland in flavor aside from a lemon taste. Corn bread was good but I think it was old as it was crumbling into pieces. I ordered on uber eats overall I'd give this plate a mid 7/10.

This was my first time having soul food at Mama Mary’s & I must say, it was amazing! I had fried chicken wings with potato salad and mac & cheese. The food was very delicious and seasoned well, shout out to the chef! The one thing that stood out to me was the different variety of cornbreads! It was moist and tasty, I took a few home. Sabrina was very welcoming and you can tell that this restaurant has been a pillar of the community for a very long time. I will definitely come back!
I love this place when I want to invite a colleague for a delicious sit-down lunch. At lunchtime I've never seen it crowded, and you can just walk in and order. Not sure about dinner time, though. The service is so friendly and thoughtful. I like their fried chicken: it is not greasy, salty takeout, it's the real thing that you remember from your childhood at grandma's house. Portions are large and sides are amazing.

Mama Mary’s is amazing. The food is so tasty and the portions are generous. I had chicken wings, ribs, yams, potato salad, mac & cheese, and they offered 3 types of cornbreads! Sweet Potato, apple cider, and original cornbread. I also had the mango lemonade. All the flavors complimented each other VERY well! Hands down the best food and customer service! Sabrina was so sweet & gave us brief history on Mama Mary. All in all my experience there was amazing and I will be going back! Compliments to the chef!!

The food was amazing. I generally hate collaed greens but ate the entire thing on my plate. Corn bread came out steaming hot and was good if you like it moist and soft. I prefer it this way. Blackened catfish hit the spot
