If you're craving excellent Mexican food, this place is a must-visit. Although the service can be a bit slow, they make up for it by offering complimentary nachos and

I have tried this restaurant twice. I have really enjoyed the food. It is the closest to Mexican food. The margaritas are great as well. I am Mexican and loved this restaurant.

Somewhat kitchy decor with loud laminated graphic tables, foil cutout banners, and hilariously large vessels for their margaritas. A legitimate margarita with freshly squeezed lime, despite its totally absurd form factor. Freshly fried complimentary chips with a super spicy chipotle salsa. The $18 enchiladas with mole were fine. Nice servers.

Food was meh? at best. We decided to trash the left overs due to upset stomach. The dining area was super loud with all hard surfaces. Service was good overall except bringing the nacho appetizer after the entree. I think that may have been the server not being able to hear us with the noisy dining area. $25 a head was a bit much.

Here another Mexican spot not to be missed. You always know if it's a great restaurant by its patrons! This place gets popping with great food and great drinks. The waitress is a treasure as she works her tables and with ease. I had the carnitas Michoacán. So good, so good!!! Don't miss out! Come thru if you're in Haven

We went for lunch on a Tuesday. The "complementary" chips were hard, greasy and ice cold with no flavor. Had to ask for them to be heated up (which they did). The salsa verde was sour and evidently the only choice (I would have preferred a tomato salsa or guacamole but it wasn't offered). The glass and silverware appeared to be dirty too making everything that much less appetizing. We both ordered some form of beef tacos. I had mine with refried beans and some kind of rice. The rice was cold and inedible and the refried beans were flavorless and room temperature. The tacos were just warm- not nearly the temperature you'd expect them to be to kill off any bacteria lurking around. The beef was also greasy. Neither of us came close to finishing anything it was that bad. We were the only two people in the restaurant. The main service person spent most of his time paying attention to his phone while we could hear giddy little girls in the kitchen having a bunch of fun at the expense of our lunches. This place has received positive reviews in the past. I'm not all sure how. My suggestion to them is to buy an instant read thermometer, get off the phone during working hours and pay attention to your food and customers. I'd recommend giving this one a miss.

It's our 3rd time, the food is great, portions were big and generous and the service was really good, welcoming and friendly. We love their margaritas, nachos and tostadas de tinga! Try it it's our

This place is great, good service and great food. Usually with Mexican food in CT it's not that good but this was amazing. I highly recommend going anytime you need a good burrito.

Food was just drowning in fryer oil. Had absolutely no flavor at all (at least some acid/lime juice would’ve given it something). My wife and I got about two bites in before giving up.Wait staff was nice but disappeared as soon as food was delivered. We sat there for about 15 minutes just staring at each other waiting for someone to check in on us.The bill was comped, which was appreciated, but something needs to change. Not sure how this place has such a high rating with the experience we had today.

My friends and I regularly eat here; one of them lived in Mexico for several years and really knows her authentic Mexican food. Great Nachos, suitable for sharing for 4. Great chicken and pork with mole. Enjoy the Frozen Margaritas.
