On a cold wet day, we decided to check out some spots in New Haven (hour drive). This spot was one of them. After driving around forever trying to find parking we finally got to this place for shakes and the shake machine was down ?? Wasted a lot of time.

Stumbled upon this place while walking back to the parking garage while visiting the area. Place is modern, exceptional staff and GREAT music playing. Wait was short, menu is fantastic and you can't really go wrong with a cone, cup or shake! I got the fruity pebbles and milk while my girlfriend got the sea salted caramel with kettle corn. Fantastic! Get. Down. There.

When this location first opened it was legitimately some of the best ice cream I'd had in New England. It has fallen far from that day. The ice cream is no longer made fresh and the waffles are overcooked and crumbly. The flavors are muted from those earlier days. If I came here for the first time today I wouldn't return. I can only hope there's a return to form because at this price point there's better ice cream for cheaper nearby.

Went here at 10:20pm and the doors were locked but there was about 8 people in there. How do you say you close at 11pm and lock the doors a whole 40 minutes before? Bad business!!! Every time I come here the employees are always rude and miserable no customer service experience whatsoever. This business has been getting worse and worse since they opened.

Not even welcoming. Bad customer service, as if I’m making the employees life harder by ordering ice cream. They no longer make the ice cream right then and there so they didn’t have 3 of the ones I would order. I had to wait 10 minutes to find out they didn’t have what I wanted and there was no one else in line.when they first open they were the best, now there nothing special.

I came yesturday with my family and got the best vanilla ever I swear milkcraft definitely does have the best vanilla ice cream ever!!! The workers were extremely friendly with my children and I, 10/10 will be coming back next time I'm in the area!Kid-friendliness: Had kid-friendly music playing and was super friendly

I have been to this location a couple of times and it’s gone downhill. The place is dirty and employees clearly don’t know sanitation or food safety. But that’s not even the biggest issue. I went with my friend and we both got the blue ice cream. Not even eight hours later I was awoken in the middle of the night with stomach cramps, so awful that I was running to the bathroom. Needless to say it was definitely the ice cream because of the color. It didn’t stop for a couple of days. And I’m NOT lactose intolerant. The same thing happened to her who got the blue ice cream. After telling a coworker about it, they told me that years ago when they got the blue ice cream it happened to them too. Funny enough if you scroll down through these reviews, there’s another reviewer saying that the same thing happened to them. So if you want food poisoning, then I guess go here.
