Best Chinese food in the area. Much better than your traditional takeout place. I always get the twice cooked pork.

This restaurant has exceptionally poor service, bad and dirty food, I hope the health department will investigate this store, very unsatisfactory

Very good experience, delicious food, super nice service. We ordered a dish, but the chef accidentally made it spicy. The landlady came over to apologize in person and gave us another dish.

New Haven's Taste of China offers an exceptional dining experience! The atmosphere is authentic and inviting, transporting you straight to China. The food is some of the best Chinese cuisine we've had in the US, with each dish bursting with rich, traditional flavors. Highly recommend dining here for an authentic and delicious meal!

Every time I come to New Haven, I visited this restaurant but getting disappointed a bit every time. The taste of the food is authentic, but my suggestions through my experiences are - please be careful with the rice, some of them are very hard, hurt my teeth. They used outdated chicken for the deep fried spicy chicken, I can still taste the outdated chicken although they used spices to cover it. Another thing is that please wash the veggies before stir fry them, all dirty sands in my mouth. I think New Haven has other choices of food as well.

Decent Chinese food. Fresh ingredients. Just not spicy enough for me. Price is little high for one person because the portion is banquet size.

My co-worker from China insisted we come here for lunch one day to show me what Chinese cuisine is really like. She told me this is her 6th time eating here in the 3 months she’s lived in New Haven. Everything I had here was out of this world!! The restaurant itself is really classy, a great option for work dinners or date night.

Very flavorful and delicious plates! Highly recommend the Mongolian beef, Dan Dan noodles, and garlic chicken.
