Best tuna wrap I have ever had, and as a huge bonus the owners are nice and treat everyone like dear friends. The muffins and danishes are amazing too, and there is also fresh produce. My husband and I are in here nearly every day!

My favorite place for lunch in New Haven! My go-to is the #2 and it's perfect every time. Great deal for a delicious sandwich, pickle, and chips. Sandwiches are a delicious and filling lunch and big enough to split between meals if you'd prefer. Staff is incredibly friendly, and I always look forward to saying hello. Aside from great deli sandwiches, the market carries a variety of other foods, ingredients, and beverages.

Jerk tofu was really good, Mac was ok , I do not recommend getting the dumplin. I'm gonna go again and see how everything else is, on the menu. Sadly they only make chicken drumsticks some days , but they said they update thier menu daily so make sure to check the menu before ordering instead of ordering what you see in the reviews.

I live in the neighborhood, and there are plenty of options to choose from, yet I find myself here almost everyday. Excellent fresh food and the friendliest people. If I ever leave New Haven, I'll miss this place the most.

You MUST try Eddie's falafel! I walked past Ninth Square Market every day for about a year before I finally decided to give it a shot. Man, do I regret wasting that year. Eddie makes his moist, delicious falafel from scratch every day. He serves it on a warm pita with homemade pickles, fresh veg, and a secret sauce. I live for it. Plus, you can pick up a generous serving of falafel, a bag of chips, and a drink for around ten bucks. What a deal. Aside from the falafel, Ninth Square Market offers really great breakfast sandwiches and Syrian sides. Plus, the owners are some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

Owners were making fun of a customer trying to purchase items with EBT card. They said something like, since we added seating we no longer take EBT. Pretty scummy.
