Other reviews mention how great and friendly the bartenders are here but we seem to have been unlucky during our visit... our bartender was pretty unhelpful and borderline rude. Atmosphere and style of the place was otherwise great, beers are OK (only 3 on draft).

Beautiful historic cigar bar. Great cocktails, friendly staff, nice music. Beware, you will stink when you leave as it’s a smoking bar, but it’s worth it!

Me and my mom went there to stop by after coming into town, we had the kindest bartender Stefan who was very personable, they also had comfortable seats with fun and wide board game collection that can keep you playing for hours. Loved the atmosphere and the complimentary popcorn was very nice! HIGHLY recommend for kids and adults.

i recently came here for the first time and Michael made me and my friends feel incredibly welcome! they said their drinks were amazing & he made me a custom mocktail that was 1000/10. if you're looking for a chill spot with a great vibe and even better bartenders, i highly recommend.

Have come here a handful of times. Love the atmosphere and Three Sons. Free popcorn also a major win. But every time we have come here, the bartenders have either been incredibly cold (borderline rude) or ignore us point blank. Not sure if this is “intentional” to add to the atmosphere but always a huge damper to the visit.

This local spot is cozy and welcoming. We were seated at the bar for most of the night and saw the place quickly fill up. Even though the bar became very busy as the night went on, Mike our bartender made time to check in with us and the couple seated nearby to make sure we had everything we needed. Highlights include an extremely well made old fashioned, a delicious gin drink that was recommended to us by Mike, and the free popcorn for snacking. We’ll definitely be returning!

I came in on a Monday with a group of friends from out of town, there was another large group there but our amazing bartender Mike made us feel right at home, welcoming us right when we walked in. He made us a handful of drinks from the menu, including one of the best gin cocktails I’ve ever had. The place has a unique charm to it; it’s old and rustic with a heavy Ivy League theme. We loved the board games and free popcorn, too. It’s a rare downtown gem with tasty drinks, a great atmosphere, and a fantastic bartender. Go see for yourself!

Great local spot to grab a bite to eat and grab a delicious cocktail. I enjoyed a couple of slices of 3 Sons Pizza. I asked for a mint julep but they were all out of mint, so Lauren created me something that should be the drink of the summer. It was light and refreshing--really hit the spot after a long day out.

I order a dirty martini which is an unusual drink but I HATE vodka, mike made me the BEST dirty martini with tequila I’ve ever had!!! My friends margs and cocktails were some of the best we’ve ever had in New Haven, the hot dogs we got were also AMAZING. Definitely a must stop if ur in the area!
Great local spot to hang out at with a mixed bag of great people!! Michael at the bar is always pleasant and speedy with orders - honestly what has had me coming back. The foosball table in the back is a fun addition to the night with friends or strangers. Also the sign above the bar is a great conversation starter with strangers. I’m newish in town and going here alone is always easygoing and laidback!!

Went on a Friday night after work to unwind. Great vibe. I ordered the skull and bones cocktail and Mike the bartender was super attentive and welcoming. The free popcorn was a huge plus too. Definitely coming back.
