We went for a dinner of 5, all grown-ups. Glasses of wine and food were nice. The staff who helped our table was awesome. We really enjoyed our time there.

We went for restaurant week the portions were more than generous. The food was delicious and well balanced. Will definitely return

I ordered Churrasco A La Parrilla. The steak was perfect and the rice, interesting plátanos mixed in, delicious. I ask to refer a Spanish wine of my favorite, they aced. Definitely will be visiting again. Cocktails were very good.

Made reservations for restaurant week on a rainy Sunday. Had the pre-fixed 3 course meal. The tuna ceviche was an excellent first course. I had the skirt steak with chimichurri and side of crispy roasted baby potatoes. Skirt steak medium rare was perfect and juicy. The main course was a little small for my liking (but it was pre-fixed for restaurant week). Ended it with a tres leches rice pudding...DELICIOUS! The service was amazing. If you drive into the restaurant, park across the street and they will validate your parking (after 4pm) but will not validate the parking lot behind the restaurant. Overall, a great experience!

Enjoyed a peaceful lunch while uplifting music played softly in the background. The shrimp chowder was truly comforting, with a velvety base and just the right amount of shrimp to savor. I also tried the shrimp and crab enchilada, which was satisfying and well-portioned. The establishment features a spacious bar with a good selection of drinks, and they offer a happy hour to unwind. Being in New Haven, parking costs are something to keep in mind. Overall, it was a lovely and relaxing experience.

Always a good time at this casual eatery in the Yale area, seems a favorite of students and teachers. I was there for the restaurant week special menu at the set price of 45.00 and found it to be wonderful. Corn shrimp chowder was great, the roast pork with mashed potatoes delicious and the rice pudding creamy and luscious. Always a good time and I look forward to coming back. Oh! And good drinks too! It's very important to have a bartender get a drink right as it sets the tone for the rest of the visit. We had vodka cocktails and a margarita and all were just right!, not weak but not overdone either. Thank you!

For my birthday on October 26 my children and I went and had such an amazing time. It was cozy, inviting, warm and lovely moment. Jack was our waiter, he was attentive and welcoming. I could not have had a better time! We had a blast. The food was delicious, the drinks were delicious. I encourage that when you are in New Haven, CT please stop by. And by the way the money we spent was worth it!

I’ve been coming to Pacifico for four years since I moved to New Haven. The first time I saw it, I thought that this was a great location to enjoy the city with some good food. I was right. I genuinely love every item on the menu, especially the Duck Quesadilla and the Whole Seabass. Every cocktail is well balanced and well mixed, and the atmosphere is nice from every seat in the house.

Service was 10/10! We came for dinner before a show at Shubert and we had such a great time we were almost late for the show even though we only had to cross the street. The service was immaculate - our waiter was beyond accommodating and attentive even though our party had staggered arrival times. The food was excellent highly recommend the guacamole con chicharron - but everything we ordered was delicious. All dishes were well seasoned, portioned and the accompanying sauces sent them over the top! We came for the convenient location to the theater but will absolutely be returning just for Pacifico.

I love the Churrasco a La Parrilla! It's in a great location for dinner before a show at the Shubert Theatre.

My experience was fine up until I spit out a cockroach that was in my old fashion drink. A close friend and I sat at the bar and ordered a drink. Midway through I felt something odd in my mouth and I went to grab whatever it was—it was a cockroach. I was shocked, gagging, and freaking out. My friend got the bartender (who seemed a bit nervous and apologetic) and we reported it to her. She then told her manager Rafat, who did not come over nor address the situation. She informed us that we would not be charged for our drinks. We had additionally ordered food with our drinks but we declined the food immediately after being asked if we still wanted it. I was still freaking out and I needed to wash my mouth out. We went to grab mouth wash from a corner store two store fronts away. After calming down (about 10 minutes). I went back to acquire information (managers name) and I asked to speak with him. I asked him if the bartender informed him about the roach in my drink and me swallowing it?”. He answered and said he did.

He apologized for that happening and continued and said “Well yes, I believe you both but unfortunately some things are out of our control, but I want to make sure you guys are good. I want to make sure you guys will come back,”. I said I won’t be back and my friend asked “How are you going to make sure we are okay? What exactly are you going to do?” He said well if you guys come back I will make sure you are taken care of. I immediately shook my head and said “So basically nothing, how do you spell your name?”. He spelt it out for me and I said “Thank you,” and we left. I will also be posting a review and video on TikTok.

It’s unfortunate because the atmosphere and drink we both good—but I am MORTIFIED. I will NOT be back and I will be advising other people not to avoid this place. Not only was he aware, he didn’t immediately come over and acknowledge the issue. Nor did he offer a CONCRETE resolution. Not only did his inaction offend me but his comment regarding “believing us”??? WHAT?!

This is the sort of thing that makes a person question if you looked differently— would the response have been different ? If you go CHECK YOUR FOOD AND DRINKS!!!!

Our (party of four) best meal we've ever had out of many in New Haven. Our server (Roberto?) and his guidance and cadence really added to the experience. Great cocktails, guacamole, tapas, oysters, salmon, skirt steak, and lomo saltado - everything top notch

The food was average, the service was good. The octopus was very average, the paella had overcooked rice, too many tomatoes and onions, and the seafood was tasteless. The dessert was good, but the dessert selection was uninteresting to me. We were sitting outside and it was very noisy.
