Found this restaurant on Uber Eats and am so happy that I did! I got the impossible kebab bowl with maggi and it hit the spot - will definitely be ordering again!
Previous review: Highly recommend the vegan korma sauce! Updated from previous review on 2022-05-14
The place located on the side of broadway on Howe street. There is street parking all around the place. Some spots are free depending on the time and date and some are metered. The place itself is small and cozy with 4-5 tables to sit comfortably. We ordered dosa, paneer roll, spinach samosa and fried idly. We got set of 2 dosas per order and they tasted great. The idly were too crisp and felt like a little over fried but tasted great. The samosas tasted different and had the perfect amount of chat masala on the surface. Paneer roll felt like they were made with Kawan Parathas and lettuce bought in Store. Additionally, the best item we bought was probably the mango lassi. I asked the person at the store who mentioned they make and package it there itself with a pataka label. Do give the store a try and check if it suits you.
Lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Quick service. Clean. Very friendly.
The food tasted very good and the portion sizes were just right. They gave a ton of sauce which was nice, but I was disappointed in the small portion of the protein (I only received four small veggie croquettes for mine). The service was fast, the menu had plenty of options, and the prices were reasonable. I'll likely come back at some point.
I got the paneer and aloo Kati roll. So good!! Also just the right amount of food as I was comfortable but not stuffed.
Great Indian restaurant. It is pretty small, but the interior design is awesome. A lot of vegetarian and gluten-free options. And the food is so delicious! The staff is welcoming and polite. This is the best vegetarian Indian restaurant I have ever visited.
Loved the aloo paneer kati roll, pataka chat and the masal dosa. Its a small restaurant with 3 tables. Had an upbeat vibe. Very clean and well maintained. The dishes had a different taste than usual but were delicious.
This was a great ‘fast food’. The roasted veggies and dals were really yummy!

"EAT MOR VEGGIES!" This is an excellent vegetarian option that happens to be Indian! I loved Dosa here, which has no gluten but is all protein. I returned the next day for another one! Very addictive, so please be careful. Veggie balls were basically falafel but served in a bowl with other yummy stuff. Mango Laksa drink was a refreshing yogurt drink. Pataka Chaat was interesting, with chopped samosa, garbanzo beans, and some yogurt. Anyways, again, please picture a cow on a billboard sayin', "EAT MOR VEGGIES" This world would be a better place indeed, with less greenhouse gases for sure. Let's support this joint! By the way, every worker I encountered here was terrific, very upbeat and helpful! The prices here are almost unbeatable, too!
A lot of vegan foods and some vegetarian food can be made vegan. Give this restaurant a try!
Fresh food good portions comfy surroundings
We have ordered from Pataka once or twice a month since they opened, and every single time the food is incredible. I have never experienced a more consistent restaurant, ever! Their take on Indian food is beyond delicious and we always look forward to ordering from them again and again. By far our favorite restaurant.
