Worst poke in New Haven. Got a poke bowl there - the plastic of the bowl deformed, melted, and stuck to the table after I was served. Showed the staff member, who insisted it was “fine” and put the same food (with the melted plastic on it) into a new bowl. The bowls they use are clearly not safe for hot food; it seems like the manager is trying to save a quick buck at the expense of food safety. That was the most egregious but beyond that, food is just mediocre, boba tastes so bad I couldn’t finish it, and it took 10 minutes to get 2 boba even though we were the only 2 people in the store. Go anywhere else.

Unfortunately the coconut milk tea had no taste, even with sweetener.

We loved eating at Pokemoto! Very fresh ingredients, patient staff who waited while we took forever to order and yummy food. Thank you!!

Extremely understaffed. One guy working alone on every order on a Friday night when the store is full is absolutely insane

I always order my burritos from the hamden location, so i gave this one a try, but i did not like it. The rice was hard and didn’t taste seasoned, the seaweed salad left a weird chemical-y taste in my mouth, and the seaweed wrap itself was chewy, rubbery, and felt stale-like.

this might just be the most beautiful poke bowl i’ve ever laid my eyes on, thank you whoever made my bowl <3 i will definitely be re visiting!!!!! and SOOO delicious. literally writing this review whilst devouring this down.

I used to visit this restaurant a lot and they used to have great service and awesome food. Recently I got new job at New Haven and come back to visit the restaurant but it changed a lot, the service was horrible the lady behind the counter made me feel like if I’m getting the food for free ??‍♂️?, please SMILE a bit, and when I got the food, some of the rice was very crunchy ( I believe it was from the bottom ).

The idea of the place is great, please improve those details!!!
