This was my first experience having Poke... and it was amazing!

We often order from pokemoto in Hamden and Wallingford which are great. Pokemoto on Audobon St in New Haven put almost no fish or any of the other selections in a triple protein bowl. We basically paid twenty something dollars each for bowls of rice. Wouldn’t order from them again.

Honestly the worst raw salmon I’ve ever had, and I used to get sushi at my college dining hall. Not only was it discolored, it made me feel sick, thank god it didn’t give me full blown food poisoning. The salmon was gritty, and had a weird texture. I can’t speak on other proteins, but I would’ve 100% rather gone somewhere else. Service was amazing and the girl was super nice, best of luck to her.

Decent food, but fish looks looked a little sad. Rice wasn’t really sushi/poke rice either more like mushy normal rice which was…odd. Would probably skip if you’ve had good poke from NY/CA/

Nice customizable poke bowl, they have all the typical ingredients, and the ingredients blend well together. The bases are brown and white (sushi) rice! ??they also offer spam musubi snacks as a side :)

Took a half an hour to get a bowl today. There's no sense of urgency. There's children running the place. Food was okay but if you're in a rush don't bother going.

I like that you can create your own poke so you have many options. Staff is friendly.

Noticed a recent change in management and it’s been so much better. I can tell the new guys care about what they are giving out, the way it’s presented, the taste and the amount is prefect. Genuinely feel welcomed when I go back , they don’t forget a face. Even knows half my order?

Love the create your own poke bowl. Just recently visited for the first time and the staff is super nice/helpful. All the food seems really fresh too! Will for sure be back.

Boyfriend & I ordered sushi burritos through UberEats (that was probably mistake one), we received them DROWNED in spicy mayo. Not in a good way. Disgusting. Too much mayo- it wasnt edible or we'd get sick. We did check off spicy mayo when we ordered, but why you would think drowning everything in the sauce would be a good idea is beyond me. Never ordering here again. Cant believe we paid for this.
