Would not recommend this place unless you are deeply craving for Ramen. The atmosphere is so so with little to no air conditioning. this is especially hard since it's near summer and pretty hot out and you're eating Ramen so no AC blows. The services is eh...so so. The food is what's important. The quality is not the best nor is that bad. it's passable to say the least. It's a la carte, I've gotten the spicy ramen with extra $1 charge for a bit of extra hot paste, and $2 extra for 5 pieces of bamboo..hmm...so yea you can tell from the picture so I will only say that it's not worthwhile so don't go for it. The soup of the noodle is not the typical Japanese broth that you will expect of 10plus hours of slow cooking so you can taste the broth. yup, you'll be disappointed if you have any expectation for it. As for the noodle, the thin noodles are lets just say I'm not use to it as you can still taste the flour from the noodles.hmm.. yea so it's a bit off. The meat (pork) is pretty decent, but the egg is argh..not even close to what you will expect from a ramen place. it's a hard boil without any marinating which is a running yoke with marinated. Sorry I'm not from the area, but a bit disappointed as this place has such a high review so got my hopes up. Would not recommend for ramen.

Ramen Kuro Shiro is a pleasant dining spot, characterized by its simple, clean, and well-maintained environment. While the ramen was decent, it left some room for improvement. Highlights of the menu include the spicy edamame and the buns with fried chicken, both of which were particularly enjoyable. The tasty hot oil adds a nice touch to the dishes. The restaurant also offers beer, enhancing the dining experience. Service is quick, and the staff are friendly and sweet, making for an overall positive visit.

Comically bad ramen. I had high hopes for this place since it “looks” like a decent ramen joint and the inside vibe/decor isn’t half bad. But alas the tonkatsu ramen tastes like the instant variety. The broth lacked any depth…it was a clearish brown broth (not what tonkatsu looks like) with hardly any flavor. The chashu (if you could call it that) tasted like rubber. And the egg was a disgrace—overcooked and not the custard-y like yolk you should expect in ramen. Nor was it marinated. Quite possibly the worst ramen I’ve ever had. Staff were rude too. If you’re going to have ramen in the literal name of your restaurant at least make an effort?

First of all, Min is the man! Made our experience exponentially better by taking care of us.Second, the ramen has never disappointed in the roughly three years I’ve been going here. I gravitate towards the vegan options but I’ve had their non-vegan broths as well and they were stellar. A lot of places make salt soup and call it ramen. Not the case here. Flavorful and fulfilling. We also got the katsu and that gravy SLAPS! There’s a sweetness to it that is just barely noticeable but works well with the savory umami.
