The shashukka is out of this world good. The little mushroom pastries are incredible. Their garlic knots are FANTASTIC. BUT I also had the gluten free pizza and wasn't impressed. The stuff on top of the crust was divine the crust itself was kind of a miss. It wasn't bad just uneven thickness and therefore it cooked unevenly and some parts were great and some were meh. Anyway get anything else and I'm sure you'll be happy!

I made an order tonight through grubhub. I was excited to try the food, and had high hopes. The food itself was good and I was pleased with the quality. However I did not receive what I ordered.I ordered 1 of each of the mini burekas, and received 2 potato 1 cheese and they wrote on the cover no more mushroom (should not have let me order it through grubhub then, as I did not want 2 potato ones). That wouldn't have been a big deal in itself, except I ordered 2 sabich orders and 2 falafel orders, and instead got 4 falafel orders. I did not want 4 falafel orders. The main reason I ordered in the first place was for the sabich. The falafel was good, however I am very disappointed in this situation and am dissatisfied with my experience.

Ricotta is a Kosher Pizza and bakery. It's a small restaurant that sells pizza, bakery goods, Israeli breakfast, Israeli foods, Shakshuka, and other Israeli foods. On my way home out of New Haven I decided to stop by. The store was about to close in a hour so they didn't have as much pastries out but I will come back for another visit. The store was small and very clean. My daughter got a Chocolate Rugalach and she said it tasted pretty good. The staff were really welcoming and I would definitely have to come back to taste the Israeli food.

Never again will I give this place business. I placed a catering order for an antisemitism work event with Jakov (3 phone calls) and come the day of the event no one showed up or called. A large group of people were left waiting with nothing to eat, as they were promised. When I called Jakov to ask what happened, he offered no explanation and gave no apologies, just briskly said, "I'll check if your card was charged, bye" and never called back. Huge waste of time and disappointment. Not to mention, to begin with, they wouldn't bend their delivery time by 5 minutes to accommodate a large group. Our business will STAY FAR AWAY FROM RICOTTA, and so should you.
