Good spot if your in the mood for latin cuisine. Service always good. Can be tough to find parking close by, but that's New Haven. Highly recommend the Pina crema along with the chipotle if you like the sweet and spicy combo. Also the pickeled onions is a MUST!

The arepas are quite good, but try the cachapas for a slightly sweet experience, esp. if you add the pineapple sauce. The traditional guayacaca sauce is vegan and delicious. Everything is made to order and the vegan items are clearly marked.

Today was my second time coming to this place and I was very disappointed. I came back because my arepas the first time we're very tasty however today the arepa itself was very hard the pork carnitas were so dry and was like they have been cooked and sitting for days there was no meat left no juice nothing just dried pork almost like jerky pulled jerky. Overall left my stomach hurting and me still hungry cuz I couldn't even finish what I bought. Customer service was great both times I had been there and the place was clean. Just very disappointed about the food I'm not sure if I'll go back.

This was my first experience trying arepas and they were amazing! I don't live in Connecticut, but I want to go back again just to eat these. The employees were fun and the atmosphere was relaxed. I highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my arepa with pork carnitas, onions, and some other toppings. I only had one, but in the future I'd definitely order a second.

The food was great. They use Chipotle style of putting together your food. Pick your meat, rice, then beans and veggies. Service is good. The dining room is clean and offers plenty of seating.

Excellent arepas! I had the pabellon (shredded beef, black beans, plantains) with the queso de mano and the avocado sauce. It was delicious--my only complaint was that it was super messy to eat, but it was totally worth it. I'll definitely be back for the avocado chicken salad!
My food never arrived, I called and the person who helped me couldn't give me an answer, he was very rude, I asked to speak to the manager and by chance he wasn't there and he simply answered the phone, I called again and they never answered.

Build your own kind of place. It's good overall (a bit messy to eat) but there's just so many out there now, and they really should have a few classic Arepas that you don't have to pick the toppings.
