Unassuming and easy going sushi spot! It’s in the basement so slightly dark. Lunch menu prices are great

Excellent sushi. The plum wine is the variant with red wine, lending a nice acidity to the drink. We had a lovely evening here and can recommend coming here!

While service was fast, the quality of the fish was low. If you’re looking for sushi, I’d go

Menu and food is amazing. Atmosphere is a bit boring and bland, but completely forgotten about once the food came! We got gyoza(fried dumpling) which was amazing, tteokboki(spicy rice cakes) which were okay. We also got beef bulgogi and their lobster sushi roll. Definitely coming back!

The food is so bad. I don’t think they should provide sashimi.

Excellent sushi for the price in New Haven! Servers are always friendly and helpful. Get the sushi regular or deluxe. The purple rice is really nice!

This is the very definition of a meal being "okay". You'll have better from most grocery stores. The sushi fell apart. The fish on and in the rolls was very thin- mostly purplish rice. It wasn't actual purple rice... That's nutty and really good. This was different..more pink and not really good.....Anyway, had to ask three times for everything... Even extra napkins. We got one, then asked for more, got one... Same with the wasabi. Really cutting corners and it's obvious. The waiter kept forgetting things, like soup, etc., though he seemed to try really hard.Did not enjoy it and won't go back. It's cool it's downstairs in an alley - - - and it's clean in the dining room. Bathrooms are, again, okay.

service was very unimpressive. maybe it was just a bad night, but after waiting to have our orders taken for 10 minutes, we were told to wait another 5 and we watched as the same server took the order of a table that arrived after us. our food took an hour to arrive because it sat on a counter for about 15 minutes. it took another hour for all our food to arrive.food was mediocre at best. purple rice was neat but definitely felt gimmicky. tempura was Not It—instead of a thin translucent yellow batter, it was thick and opaque orange, kind of like fried chicken.nice that there was an anime show playing on the tv because they know the wait times are too long… ^o^??

I was served salmon that had not been scaled. Didn’t realize until I got home because it was a to go order. Do not recommend this place!
I have ordered shrimp Tempura take out. It was not good in taste and it was stinking. Shrimp was not fresh.
