Taste of Jiang Nan is a hidden treasure and one of the best hot pot restaurants in New Haven. The atmosphere is calm, peaceful, and evokes a warm feeling of homeliness. The food is always fresh, splendid, and of high quality, with excellent spicy beef broth and wonderful ingredients like wood ear mushrooms, sliced beef, and hot pot noodles. Having your own pot is a very cool experience. The soup and base selection is good, with a variety of food. The service is phenomenal, kind, and attentive, with staff and chefs offering helpful guidance. It is a wonderful dining experience, especially fun with friends, and definitely worth the visit.
