My husband and I enjoyed our visit to the restaurant. This was our first visit and we very happy with our meal. Unfortunately, we tend to forget about State Street and all of the fine establishments, but no longer. We will put your restaurant on our radar now.
Tavern is the BEST restaurant in New Haven! The food is superb and the menu is always changing so I love going back time and time again. Chef Emily is so creative, and Dre makes the most delicious drinks. As someone who's been trying to drink less, I especially appreciate that they have so many amazing mocktails. I'd be remiss not to mention that the front of the house is just as lovely as the food and drink and always round out the experience, making it truly special...
