Great spot !
We had such a good time. The place is clean and bright and brings out the creativity. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our only disappointment was that they were out of some of the colors.
This place was so fun! I had not done ceramics in forever. Went with my coworkers and it was great. Reasonably priced. Everything cost what the piece you selected was. Did not have to pay for extra paint or brushes. Dina was very helpful and attentive. We were there longer than anticipated but we cant wait to see our pieces after they are fired. Thank you!
I love this place! It’s so fun and perfect for all ages and all skill levels.
Absolutely wonderful venue for a kids birthday party!
We had a great time at The Clay Date when we were visiting CT. We had fun working on our projects and had the finished product shipped home.
I love this place! The staff is outstanding, they go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. I've been pottery studio member for a year now and I'll stay here as long as they'll have me. It's a friendly community of people who love creating and sharing their knowledge. I'd recommend The Clay Date for potters of any skills level and for people who are interested in giving it a try.
Friendly staff answering all our silly questions. We had a good time!!
So relaxing! Highly recommend
I have to say how impressed I am with The Clay Date, and I haven't even visited yet! I had plans to visit a sunflower maze today with my young nieces and nephew, but upon arrival a rainstorm swept through washing away our afternoon fun! The kids love painting pottery, but being too far from our usual Fairfield spot, I Googled looking for a more convenient paint-your-own-pottery place and found The Clay Date. I called to make sure their hours were correct and that they were indeed open but got their voicemail twice stating that they were closed. A bit later, the owner called back to let me know she'd seen that I'd called and to apologize as they were having an issue with the phones today. She was so very sweet! We will definitely be planning a visit someday soon - thank you for your kindness and for going out of your way to call us back! Exceptional customer service :). See you soon!

Interesting place in the STOP & SHOP plaza in Amity. You can paint many things made out of clay: little statues, cups, plates, etc. Great for kids. Jessica will take great care of you!
Visited for my mom’s birthday with my family. Truly 10/10 experience. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Pottery looked well made and there was a ton to choose from. I had my small children with me and they were occasionally rowdy and the customer service here never faltered. Really appreciate your patience today and I can’t wait to visit again soon! 5 stars!
