Food is delicious, prices are unbeatable. All waitstaff is 10/10. Bartenders are knowledgeable and super fast. Great place to get a quick bite & beer or have dinner - there’s even a private room in the back to celebrate any occasion. ALSO - The Shepherds Pie is literally to die for. That & The Guinness Stew. Honestly everything is great - Love this place!

This is the best Irish pub in New Haven, if not Connecticut. The food is always great and the service is as well. My regular server, Alexis, is the best and always so attentive. Make sure to try the popcorn chicken, quesadilla and the fish and chips! 5/5

Hands down the best experience! Alexis was lightning-fast and super friendly, whipping up tasty drinks that hit the spot every time. And the shepherd's pie? To die for! Huge shoutout to Emery and Meg, the bartenders who absolutely killed it - their service was top-notch and made the whole evening unforgettable! 🍴👍

I had an unforgettable experience thanks to Alexis, who truly went above and beyond! From the moment I sat down, her warm smile and unmatched hospitality made me feel so welcome—it was like being hosted by a close friend. She brought such great energy to the table, it elevated the entire visit.

And the food? Off the charts. The popcorn chicken was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the Guinness stew was rich, hearty, and absolutely delicious. Alexis, thank you for turning a simple meal into a memorable experience. I’ll definitely be back—and asking for you!

The food? Next-level delicious. Alexis, our server, deserves her own fan club—funny, fast, and somehow psychic. She brought what we needed before we even knew we needed it. If you’re in Trinity, do yourself a favor and ask for Alexis. She’s basically the Beyoncé of waitstaff.

I was here a couple weeks ago for the first time, the bartenders were friendly, fun, and attentive. The environment and overall vibe was awesome, everyone was laughing and having fun! I ordered wings and the bartender recommended the fries, AMAZING recommendation, the food was fantastic and the drinks & company were even better. Can't wait for my next trip to New Haven and Trinity!

I went to Trinity on a Friday around 6:30pm. Took forever to get a beer and I sat at the bar. Took even longer to get a menu. Staff just doesn’t care about customers. I saw people at a table have to go to the bar to ask for service because waitstaff just wouldn’t approach them. After my meal, some guy runs up to the bar and starts vomiting in a garbage can in plain sight. Bartenders witness this and do nothing. He just keeps vomiting in front of everyone eating. They didn’t even throw him out of the bar and they have bouncers at the door. Disgusting dump. Avoid it.

Came here on a Wednesday planning to just sit and have dinner to get out of the heat. Nothing on the website that as a restaurant, it’s 21+ only (since most restaurants are not). Totally understand asking for ID but the rent a cop at the door in the fake bullet proof vest was nasty and unprofessional when I didn’t have mine (I’m 37, don’t live here, and forgot it at home- not his fault I forgot it but an honest mistake and I don’t look under 21- no need to treat me like trash). I made no attempt to get in after he said no and just asked if he knew anywhere else to grab dinner and he started shouting at me. As a supposedly friendly Irish place (reason I decided to come here) totally unacceptable. Given that this is listed as a bar AND RESTAURANT it should have been made clear on the website that ID is required for entry, not just to order drinks. Definitely not a slice of the Ireland I know and love.

just came from there. original waitress disappeared. after trying to find someone else, it took three more requests for our check and a box for our food. no apology. for the first time in our lives, we left no tip. this poor service caused us to go over the parking time limit and we got a $25 parking ticket.

Terrible experience during the Tyson fight. Woman bartender was drunk and couldn't remember anyone's order. We will never go back or recommend this place.

Typical Irish pub in a college town, but good vibes and plenty of local brews on tap. Solid spot.
