Seating is so tight, it can be uncomfortable if you’re big. Getting a table seemed great. Decent prices on the wines.

In my opinion the Yale Cab has the best plays in town and the best actors. I always get a season pass and enjoy every thought provoking play. Get here early for some dessert and a drink, along with a good place to sit.

Great to experience the shows created , acted and produced by students. They even wait on tables. Usually very good meals . Friendly audience, shared tables lend to an all and all good night out in New Haven.

Very strange but overall a fun and engaging atmosphere. I came with no foreknowledge or expectations, and what I got was a beautiful dinner with a nice house wine pairing, and some freaky performance art and live music show. The artists do a great job engaging with the audience and drawing them into the show/après show discussion. Normally not really my thing but the food was great, wine was flowing and I got to see some weird art.

This is an interesting space, there is no usual scene. The fact that there are tables adds to the atmosphere. The performance went too far with pathos

A great night of live theater

Another great show, and excellent dinner & drinks! If you like being close to the action, you'll love the intimacy of the Cabaret, during the summer season and during the school year.

This is the best theater in New Haven. Experimental shows by talented students. Also, Yale School of drama students act as servers and provide excellent service

Finally discovered this wee gem. Great, central location. Small, cosy venue. Great performance - from the writers to the actors. Good wine list. Food available. Curious to see the different layouts.
