“good morning NL at 5:45am i stop here to get breakfast i saw two blonde women get out their expensive luxury cars ..btw nice rides llady i se business is good..i waved good day to the lady in glasses..she threw me a look of disgust to sitting in my car og well! then it got real ugly i bad vision i used my flashlight to what time they open then the other lady came the door like a pitbull at me LOL thank the lord she didnt bite me on this lovely sunday then they call the police on me LOL so no french toast crispy home fries and the icing on cake she told me never come bacl thank god i has my tylenol with me LOL reporting in NL your food critic ..“

“I have been back in Dayton Ohio for a little over 2 years. I have tried to find a place that does breakfast as well as Jakes. I have found one that I like very much, but I have never seen eggs done over easy as fantastic as Jakes are. We were living on Fishers Island for 19 years before we moved back and we would take the ferry as often as we could . Jake and his family are welcoming to all.“

“Our first time visit to the area and Mystic Diner was recommended. We enjoyed their breakfast several mornings. Clean, friendly, attentive staff, many selections, breakfast all day, reasonable prices. Lots of desserts but didn't try any. They have a take out window. If it looks like they're packed and long wait, go in anyway, the place is huge. It happened to us and there were plenty of tables/booths available.“
