I loved the banana flavor.
Yummy frozen custard
I always have to get a large!
So glad there's a Rita's within 15min from home...been 4 years since I've been to a Rita's and that was in Wind Gap, PA.
Had a KiwiMelon Gelati, then my kids had a cotton candy Gelati and a Blue Raspberry Italian Ice. Rita's doesn't disappoint!
Soft serve was great creamy texture
I got a large and my friend got a large, my friend got doubled more than what I got, and we paid the same amount, yet both was measured with a scale.
2025:
Me : “I’ll take the largest size”
Staff, “we have small and large what size do you want”
Mr : 😑😑😑
Great frozen custard and friendly staff.
Very good flavors and selection of Italian ices and very friendly staff.
The staff was mostly teenagers who were engaged with customers or appropriate banter with each other. The service was good, custard and what we ordered was all to be expected. Bathroom was acceptable but did not feel private (just a door that opens into main part of the business). Parking was decent and other customers were consistently coming in for pick up or dine in.
The perfect sweet treat to bring you back to life after 12 hours of being off shore.

Cheesecake ,Caramel Chocolate ,for my first try it wasn't bad 😋
If you grew up eating Italian ices, especially in those little white cups, you squeeze while eating in NYC. It didn't get any better than that!!! But trust and believe, this is a 10 out of 10 place for you to enjoy and / or remember the good ole days. All flavors!! Check them out when you feel like a cool treat!! New London Ct is on the map with this one!!! 💯
Fair prices
Had small, frozen, custard very pricey very small portion looked like it was served in cap that used to cover cup frozen custard comes in very small
I was first introduced to frozen custard more than 6 decades ago at Savin Rock in West Haven Connecticut. When I first found a Rita's in Pennsylvania many years ago, I was pleasantly surprised and elated that I was able to enjoy something that I thoroughly enjoyed as a child but thought it was gone forever. When one finally opened near my house in Connecticut I was truly excited. It has been a while since we visited the one in New London and we stopped there a few days ago. Unfortunately, things have changed. First of all, the prices were ridiculous for the serving size obtained. Worse than that, the taste was something along the line of the synthetic milk shakes you get from the chain fast food restaurants that use powdered ingredients to thicken the shake. I could not believe how bad it tasted. They mention something about the egg shortage and having to resort to soft serve ice cream, but I found no resemblance to any soft serve ice cream that I ever had. In addition, if that was true, then don't call it frozen "custard". In any case we have crossed Rita's off our list for future visits. Like so many things today, nothing good last forever and changes made are usually for the worst.
