You wouldn't know it by the simple look of the place but the food is phenomenal, an absolute favourite and something I go out of my way to get. The meat is fall off the bone tender and packed with flavor. The jerk chicken is easily the spiciest thing I enjoy fully. Sides are yummy and the portion size means you can easily share one meal or you'll likely have leftovers.
Honestly haven't eaten much Jamaican food until the past 6 months or so. Since I have started trying different spots I can say out of like a half dozen spots between here and Hartford and Boston this one was the best tasting and the best value. I had the jerk pork with cabbage and a little rice. I will come again!
I Was very surprised to find a West Indian restaurant this deep in Connecticut I ordered the oxtails with rice and peas I enjoyed the meal when you’re out this deep in CT look them up
