Went to this place as a backup plan and was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was and how low the prices were for each roll. I spent about 50 dollars not including tip for 4 rolls, 2 soups, an appetizer, and dessert. Amazing waitress, she was so nice and patient. Amazing experience all together definitely recommend.

Don't overlook this Gem! It may seem like a small basic restaraunt, but, it's hiding a secret!! Secret is...the BEST Sushi and Sushi chef in Connecticut. It's not the typical cheap heaping portion Chinese Sushi restaurant. Its run by a top Hispanic chef who train with Masters to perfect his craft!! Yum yum!

Ikura is an absolute gem. Best sushi in Newington, the miso soup is hot and full of flavor, the lunch specials are amazing, presentation is spot on, the service is great, even the music playlist is just perfect.

This is my go-to sushi place, I absolutely love it! I come here for lunch once every one or two weeks. Super friendly and very reasonably priced, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Awesome awesome place!

The sushi here is fresh and delicious. My favorites are the Boston roll and the spicy tuna crunch. I tried the eel roll recently and it was not my favorite, but the other two I order all the time and love.

The actual fish has no flavor
I much rather eat poke from Costco, or worse McDonald’s honestly..

Only good for people who like fun looking Americanized sushi that tastes like sugar and sriracha mayo
Or maybe people who are drunk and hungry and there are no other food choices…

I will never come back here.

Came back from Japan and had a craving for some gyoza and this absolutely hit that spot. Some of the best chicken fried rice i have gotten as well. Small restaurant inside with some seating outside but it fits the japan vibe perfectly and great food to match.
