Kolam is now a pathetic shadow of its former wonderful self. Gone is the carpeting that made for a sophisticated, quiet intimacy. Gone are the tablecloths and cloth napkins that enhanced the dining experience. Copper serving tureens have been replaced by plastic cereal dishes, soothing classical Indian music by a 50-inch TV blaring non-stop hip-thrusting videos. Food is good and portions generous. We went for the Sunday brunch and it was delicious!! The food was perfectly spiced. There was an awesome variety and the servers were so kind. The tikka masala was some of the best I’ve had on a long time. It was the perfect level of spicy. Enough to bring the heat and let you know it’s there. But not u enjoyable. The paneer was also delicious and creamy. Recommend everything they served and will go back!
