Omg! Island Cho is my new favorite spot when visiting Connecticut. The food was delicious, very flavorful. Cozy Ambiance, exceptional customer service and friendly service which was welcoming and made me feel at home.

I went here last night. Everything was GOOD, down to the mango passion fruit rum punch and I got the oxtails with rice and peas and mac and cheese. The juice was fresh and soooo flavorful. The oxtails were super juicy and I loved the sauce. My sides were delicious. The service was great and customer service A-1. I will deff be coming back here more often. The owners are super friendly and personable. The best Carribbean food I’d had in awhile honestly.

We were visiting my brother from a summer program and on our way to New York. When we were driving down Rte. 5 around the evening, we were delighted to see Island Cho and decided to take a peek. Best detour ever. When we walked in, the smell of the food and the cool atmosphere greeted us warmly. We took our seats and the menu had anything you could need in Caribbean cuisine — oxtail, curry goat, curry lamb. All the meals were delicious, warm, and fresh. It was the cherry on...
