Angiollo's Wood Fired Apizza

I work in New Haven, would be nothing for me to stop at one of the 3 greats there on the way home. I don't. I get my pizza here. Also, the owner and employees are very nice people. Give them a try.

This place is absolutely awesome. The owner, Marc, goes out of his way to get to know his customers and makes everyone in my household feel like family whenever we stop by! The pizza is exceptionally high quality. For anyone who might be a fan of Wooster Street pizza, I would say, “give this place a try”. Not only is it similar in quality, but when you add convenience, more reasonable pricing, ample free parking, and friendly customer service, I am hard pressed to find a reason to drive into New Haven in hopes of having a better experience. I’ve read some of the negative comments here on Google and find them amusing. Anyone calling this style of pizza “burnt crust” doesn’t understand the concept of true, New Haven Apizza. It’s NOT burnt, it’s purposely charred, giving the pizza a unique, New Haven taste. I graduated from North Branford High School in 1978 and have stood in line at Wooster St. pizza joints my entire life. With the addition of Angiollo’s in Northford Center, I save myself time, money and aggravation, without sacrificing anything from a quality standpoint! I highly recommend this place!

Amazing Pizza, better than Wooster Street by far. Great atmosphere, very clean, awesome variety with unique offerings. Sandwiches and salads are also fantastic. Real Italian cooking. I highly recommend.

I went there when they first opened and I was not impressed. After a while I went back and wow they had things figured out. Excellent and quick service and pizza that was REALLY good. If you were put off in the beginning, give them another try, you will not regret it.

Pleasantly surprised how good the pizza was. It was excellent. I don’t always have to drive to New Haven now to get good pizza. This area needed a good pizza spot and now this is it!!

Service was great pizza was good. Nothing to write home about but enjoyable. Pleasant bright clean atmosphere. What left me with a bad feeling was the $2.50 change I received for a small side of sauce. If there would have been enough to begin with there would have been no need to ask for additional. A $1 okay 1.50 maybe but $2.50 is ridiculous and will be why we don’t return.

I love Angiollo's!! Great thin crust pizza and I just tried their Pasta Fagioli and it's great. Their cauliflower crust pizza is amazing! I actually got a friend to try it without telling them it wasn't a regular crust....they thought it was really good. His gram was impressed. We're telling my friend another time...
