This was so good! Went in as walk in for lunch and it was delicious. The handrolls were delicious and fun to make- all felt so fresh. I loved the edamame dip- such cool flavors, and the yakitori was melt in your mouth good. The bill adds up quickly..but clearly quality ingredients! Yum!
Wonderful staff, amazing food and great cocktails! Such a cozy, fun environment. I’ve been following Steph and Chef Jeff since the Taproot days in Bethel, CT. If you’re considering coming in don’t walk, run! I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Ordered the hand roll kit takeout and portions were generous. Would definitely re-order.

The drinks are incredible, and the hand roll bar in the back room is a highlight, rivaling top omakase experiences. The sashimi platter and scallop hand roll are fresh and beautifully presented, though the portion sizes could be more generous. The front dining area also features a fun vibe, with delicious food like the mushroom roll, koji cured tuna, and tequila cocktail with sake. Overall, Bar Bushido is a must-visit spot for a memorable night out.
