BEST pizza I have ever had!! I was 2 hours away from home when I felt like pizza for dinner & this place was close. I’m so glad I stopped but also kinda bummed because now I have to drive 4 hours total just to get this pizza again!! It’s that good!! And I will be doing that.

Perfect crust. Perfect Sauce. And the perfect amount of cheese and toppings. We've tried a lot of pizzas in Fairfield County and East Avenue Pizza is the absolute best!

East Ave Pizza has been a family favorite for decades. We really miss the dine in experience and wish there would reconsider closing the dining room. It’s disappointing because we come from far away and out pizza is never hit and fresh by the time we get home.
Pizza is always great. Wish they had seating again.

I definitely found this pizza spot by accident and consider it my go to pizza all the way. I don’t even live in CT, yet try to frequent this location; ideally quarterly. The crust is buttery (or maybe oily), but it doesn’t matter because the cheese quality and flavor pairing of whatever tomato sauce they use is delicious. My thought is the owners are from a different part of Europe than the often-atypical Italian style of pizza, because the bread/dough is prepared differently – thus adding to the perfect way this pizza is made. The pies are smaller than a typical box – I’d say a large is more in line with Dominoes boxes (which is really a medium pizza at other Pizza shops). The oil composition can also be much, not insane, but your hands fingers will need to be properly cleaned after holding the slice. Important to note for parents of small children as on occasion oil may drip from a slice.
Parking: If there's a lot of activity at your time of pickup parking can be tricky. Street is very active and there's a car wash directly across from the pizza shop, so it can be difficult to find space to cotch your vehicle.

I'm on vacation and tried East Ave. Pizza for the 1st time. I enjoyed the crust, and the sauce was really tasty, but the cheese was overbaked and browned. I wish that the cheese would have been melted in soft and moist. Otherwise, I would have rated it as excellent. The delivery guy was polite. Thank you for your service.
My mom had been going here as a kid, and I've been going since I was in a booster seat. I love the pizza, and is the only pizza I eat the crust to! My favorite hands down
