Food is 1000000/10. Our family (some vegan, gf, and no restrictions) each loved our dishes. The rasta pasta was easily the best I've ever had, and the favorite for all of us. The vegan beef and spring platters were perfection (flavor was insane). The ingredients were clearly fresh, and each dish was made to order, as we could see while waiting. I will say it was a long wait (~45 minutes), so order further ahead if you are doing take-out. However, it is very worth it for dishes made fresh with great ingredients. Highly, highly recommend Ethno to everyone! And thank you to the wonderful chef and owner who is doing an incredible job :)

Absolutely phenomenal food!! We got jerk chicken and oxtail and both were incredible. Our boxes were filled to the brim and were loaded with extra gravy. The parking situation is tough (not the owner's fault obv) but he came out to help me squeeze out of the lot! He was very sweet and I am already looking forward to coming back. I would definitely recommend finding somewhere else to park and walking over, but so worth it!!

This is by the worst Jamaican food I’ve ever ever ever ever had. They gave us plenty of food but when I tasted it tasted so bad. The rice was burnt and the oxtail literally tasted rotten. The sprite they gave us from the bar tasted like death. I will never go here again. The pictures of the restaurant versus how it looks does not match up . Do yourself a favor and never come here again

The owner/chef, Louis, was so kind, welcoming, and passionate about his work. He himself has been vegan for over 20 years. I myself am vegan and just happened to come across the restaurant today - so glad we did! Because the food was absolutely INCREDIBLE. We had the vegan bbq ribs and vegan platter and I can honestly say it was some of the best vegan food (just food in general) I’ve ever had. There is no more of an appropriate way I would use to describe my experience then one simple word, delightful. The owner/chef greeted my girlfriend and I at the door, and we immediately felt welcomed. He graciously described the menu, recommending his best dishes, and his passion for cooking delicious vegan food shone through every description. He was extremely accommodating, described the history of the local surroundings, and even gave us the option to sit outside. We ended up ordering the jerk salmon and the spring vegan, and were just blown away. Both dishes were enormous in both flavor and quantity. Every bite was a joy. I ate until I could eat no more and was happy to have the opportunity to be able to take home the rest for another meal. I cannot praise this restaurant enough. It felt like walking into a Caribbean household and filled both my stomach and spirit. If you are in the Norwalk area, this is a must go-to. 10/10 will be eating here again.

My partner and I came in the other day to have dinner, and the food was absolutely delicious! He made this vegan special for me with vegan chicken, vegetables, beans, rice, and fried plantains. I cannot exaggerate how amazing he made the food. My partner had the jerk salmon, and he was so kind to cook him two salmons, one to try without a sauce, and one to try with. He was so kind and considerate, and he made that evening amazing for the both of us. If you haven't visited this place yet, you guys are missing out!!!
