Mike and Tony are a wellspring of knowledge and are always more than happy to help find something for any occasion and any price range. It’s clear they take a lot of consideration in their offerings and are not wines you’ll find in other stores. Their pairing dinners are incredibly fun as well.
Thought I would update. Years later they have paid about half of their debt and seem to have no inclination to pay the rest. After paying a portion we received a letter asking us to remove our poor review. As if paying somewhere around 50% of a debt in excess of $15,000 was worthy of note. Since that time they seem to be self-satisfied with stealing only somewhat less from us.
Mike has excellent taste in wines and he carries a unique selection of very good quality wines at very reasonable prices. Great place!
Great shop and friendly, knowledgeable owners. Helped me pick wonderful wines at reasonable prices and then carried the box to the car! Outstanding and can't wait to return.
Amazing little spot
Stop by and find some delicious, reasonably priced gems
Great wines you won't find anywhere else.
They have incredible knowledge and provide friendly service and fairly priced wines.
Of course, they keep the shop open by not paying the producers they work with. Buy from them and know that you are buying from a dishonest vendor that essentially steals from the small producers they are getting the wine from.
Perfect wine and liquor shop.

Simply the best, and not just because of the great, unusual, small vineyard wines you'll find. It's the people that make it. Thank you Mike & Mark for keeping it fun all these years.
They are the best
Michael, Mark and Tony are well educated in the growth, production and sale of wines of the world. They specialize in wines from small producers in the south of France, Italy, Spain and Oregon. Tell them something of what you are looking for and they will satisfy your tastes. The service is friendly and the prices are competitive. If you love the Oregon Pinot Noirs, Fountainhead is the place to go.
Outstanding !
Fountainhead is a gem of a store, and a great destination for wine and spirits lovers. It's a place where you can hang out and learn from the knowledgable staff...I usually work with Mark, who is the nicest of people. Each time I leave with something new that 1) broadens my horizon, 2) isn't easily available elsewhere and 3) reminds me that I should visit more often.
