I have not had black rice in years, I was lucky the day I was in town it was on the menu, and it and every other dish I ate was superb. Now of course the service was another story…I’ll be back on my next visit up north. Yum!

This was my 2nd time there.First time I ordered the rice and bean was cooked with a burned beans.Ou pa ka fê manje pou Vann AK pwa ki boule.TodayPikliz was days old. Bannan nan red, griyo a frêt e yo fenk Fri li, diri a te pasab.Never mind the part I ordered my food 20 minutes prior for them to ask me what I ordered and 5 minutes later gave me the worst plate of food.Do better.

If I could rate this place any higher than a five I would, i ordered the stew chicken and let me tell youuu I was ready to start eating the bone..... The portion sizes are great and will definitely fill you up. Trust me when I say this, the place does not disappoint and I will 100% be coming back.

Good authentic haitian food. Not cooked with a ton of grease. The legume tasted just like my moms. And they were so nice!!! ( not the usual for Caribbean restaurants lol). Support this Haitian business!

I lived in Pennsylvania but my family lived in Connecticut. I called the restaurant a week prior my visit I ordered a dozens of Haitian pâté. I spoke with owner she told me I can pick them up at 1pm. I went there and waited 20 minutes to find out there was no pâté. they were rude to me. I asked to speak with owner, I was told she was busy.

I got the goat (griot). Came with plaintains, beans, and black rice. Make sure to get the pikliz condiment if you like spicy. It was a solid meal. Flavorful. Good value. I'd like to try more things. Restaurant is what you might find on a Caribbean island, with up-tempo music.

Food is really good but the service is a nightmare, they don’t give you more foods and their foods are expensive than other else, the worst is: when You call to place the order, after 15 max. You call back to make sure your order is ready to pickup because they will never call you to let you know if the order is ready, they ask you what was your order and they said the food is not ready or the order doesn’t place, parking enforcement tried to give me ticket because of them. When you call to get your order even if you were placing it for 15 or half hour, you have to wait until you give up. The nightmare is everytime I het my order they always forget to give me my full order they forget the sauce, the beans, summer slaw etc.. they don’t care. In my life I never see a Haitian Restaurant like that, they don’t care and careless. They don’t realised of you went far to coming when they let you forget something they said, so you can come back. Those Peope need to close anyway. Because they don’t care about people health.Vegetarian options: Let say you have allergy with seafood, when you asked the food have seefood on it they said no, when I go home I see seafood on it. Those people don’t care, the worst is when I don’t eat pork all the time I said is the there is no meat don’t add pork. Everytime they won’t tell if the meat you ordered is finish, they won’t tell you that they add anything they don’t care if you were allergic or notParking: You have to call them first and make sure your food is ready ob the counter put you emergency light and go grab it fast because if the parking enforcement find you, they will charge you over $60.
