This is an institution for most East Norwalkers. Time has done what time does, sparing nothing. BITD, it was a daily gathering place for locals, many still do. I think most of us are loyalists, and traditionalists. The food is good, breakfast is always consistant. The wait staff is great. We go when we're in town, to see our favorite waitress, Debbie.A little powerhouse with a Golden heart, who somehow senses what people are going through at the momen, and adjusts her demeanor to accommodate. She can be uplifting, motivating, show empathy, but always caring, and determined to be the best and do the best for you.Penny's has a place in our hearts, and we visit one or two times a month.Convenient and worth the visit.

It is what it is. Generic diner food. Not bad but not amazing, you know what to expect in a regular diner. Prices are good but portions seem to be a bit smaller vs other diners.

It was a nice place. The waitress we had was so friendly and nice. The food was good. My grandson enjoyed it there. That's all he talks about, going somewhere to eat. I would go there again. Hope I have the same lady. She was sweet.

I went there for breakfast. I ordered my usual omelette with mushrooms and cheese. That omelette was small. OK, the menu didn't state how many eggs there were in the omelette but I doubt they used even one (1) egg for my omelette. I have never understood why restaurants are so cheap on eggs. I'm buying 60 for $10. I think I should, at least, get 2 eggs in my omelette. What are we talking about, 18¢? Is it so expensive to add a second egg.

Parking: The parking lot is located behind the restaurant. I came at an odd hour and I was the only guest at the time.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a long wheelchair ramp from the parking lot to the entrance. I think even an unassisted person in a wheelchair can make it.
