This is quite a hard review for me to write as I have been going to this place since I was a child and I have nothing but love for the place. I haven’t commented for the first few times, but now the lack of respect coming from one of the waitresses has been extended to both, my mom and dad, on separate occasions. She is rude right off the bat, very unprofessional, no manners or empathy, neither basic decency on how to treat customers. Again, we have been going for 20+ years. It is DRASTICALLY different from when Cruz was cooking and the family was taking care of the customers. This woman is beyond anything I’ve ever seen. She has yelled at people over the phone demanding that she cannot do anything for them. She practically screamed at my mom saying that she had no time for her or her order and that there was nothing she could do about it. On a separate occasion she was forcing my father to pay the bill whilst still eating. Once he wanted to pay, she said he had to do the line because she had no time for him anymore. When I went (again, a separate occasion as we are frequent customers) she blatantly disregards me and begins to bash customers speaking Spanish not knowing that I speak Spanish myself. She forgot my coffee, and was mad at me for that and basically shoved the coffee at me. I am so incredibly disappointed that I had to do this review to begin with as this is a place we hold very dear to us, but with a person like this we don’t feel comfortable anymore until this is taken care of.

An amazing Norwalk Landmark that is still family owned and operated, making the same phenomenal donuts I have enjoyed for 50 years!
Parking: Message for the owner:
Thank you for always being you, a truly wonderful person.

It is such a nice place, and the owners are so kind. My son loves going there, but there is one woman who is always so rude. This isn't the first time; the woman who takes the orders—I'm not sure what personal problems she has—but it's not appropriate to bring that attitude to work. She should be more friendly with clients, especially with children! Imagine, she even gets upset when children mispronounce the name of the bagels. Ridiculous! She should be nicer when taking orders. It’s son nice when the people are friendly, that’s good education! Thank you.

I just witnessed terrible customer service. A couple went in to fix their sandwich and the two front ladies one Spanish and one white were being extremely rude. If you work in customer service, it’s your job to be at least nice to your clients especially ones who I overheard had been going to speeds for 15 years. And one simply said take it up with Alex, I just work here. If you’re bad at customer service, you should not work there and I hope the boss fires them because they just lost 3 customers including me after 15 years. I rather take my business to a breakfast spot then witness rude customer service like that again.

Ordered two bacon egg annd cheese sandwiches over easy and when I got them the cook tossed them on the counter to me and it broke the eggs. I called them and told them that they ruined the sandwiches and she told me they would make me new ones and it would be a few minutes. Once I showed up they said they couldn’t give me my new sandwiches without the bad ones. (Which they never told me to bring the old ones in over the phone) then they said that my sandwiches were sitting on the counter. And when I said by the time I get back with the old sandwiches the new ones would be cold. And the lady proceeded to shrug her shoulders. I came back with the old ones and told them I didn’t want the ones sitting and to make me new ones please and they refused to make me new ones. Worst experience I’ve ever had here and I’ve been coming for 15 years. I’m astonished on how poorly we were treated here today after years of loyal support.

As I’m standing here in the store a unsatisfied customer, my only options are to take the food that was made or be given a refund. I’ve been coming here for 15+ years and I’ve never had issues with the original owners. I’m shocked at their customer service. Alex, if you’re seeing this, you should be disappointed on how they’re treating your customers when you’re not there.

Best donuts on Earth. And their breakfast food is the best in Norwalk . The coconut donuts are ???
Awesome, little long-standing donut shop. Their product is top notch, some of the best donuts in the area. Not the crazy new-age donuts which are basically like cupcakes with tons of toppings. These are your classic donuts with classic flavors like Boston cream, jelly, apple spice, glazed etc.
I’ve heard the rest of their breakfast is great too but I’ve never tried it.
Now for the bad, they regularly do not open up at the time that they publish. I’ve gone there a few times. So unprofessional. When I brought it up to the lady at the counter she seemed to not care at all.
Do not trust their timings, especially don’t risk it by going there when they open up.
