There aren't many Friendly's left. There is still a lot of nostalgia though. The food is decent but the real attraction is the ice cream which is generally pretty excellent, I just wish portion sizes were a bit larger. Service was excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. During my visit, there was a woman that was stranded for some reason. A staff member kindly let her borrow her cell phone to arrange transportation, but the result of that call seemed unsatisfactory and the woman seemed distressed. The staff were quick to assure her that they would help even going so far as to offer a ride if needed. I left before this situation was resolved, but the kindness and caring the staff demonstrated left an impression.

I'll admit I'm a sucker for Friendlys because I've loved them since I was a kid, so nostalgia plays a good factor- but this location was clean, with a fantastic staff, and the food was just fine scratching that itch for a crispy chicken melt. The star is always the ice cream though, and I turn into a kid again with their gummy shark offerings.

This place gets crazy busy during the summer and they are typically very understaffed. Servers run like crazy but can't typically meet the demands. Food is good and ice cream is great if you can get in when it's not too busy.
