I have been coming to here for decades always was a fan. I ordered rigatoni vodka and added shrimp for $8 which I was fine with. After I received the entree there were only 2 shrimp. 4 bucks a shrimp for a local pizza joint is a bit much. I also see the numerous tipping screens when getting take out which only means the owners don't want to pay the employees but would like the consumers to assist with their wage. After close to 30 years it's time to say goodbye.

I love, love, love going to Illianos. It’s always been a comforting, family-style experience for me. However, this past Tuesday I went with three other people and, unfortunately, we didn’t have as great of a visit.
Everything started off wonderfully until dinner arrived. My pumpkin/butternut ravioli came out with shrimp on it, even though I only asked for chicken. The server initially hoped it was a kitchen mistake, but it turned out it was their own. I understand servers are human and mistakes happen, but there was no apology, no compensation, and not even an offer of a dessert to make up for the mix-up.
Because the correction took so long, I had to take my dish to go—my group had already finished eating by the time it was ready. The dish ended up being $25 with the added chicken, which I was willing to pay, until I got home and saw that my leftovers were just four raviolis with not even a full chicken breast on top.
I’m a loyal customer and I truly enjoy this restaurant, which is why this experience stood out so much. I hope it can be used as constructive feedback so future visits can feel like the Illianos I love.

Cute spot.. great atmosphere. Pizza was great! Soup was good too. Fresh homemade rolls, wonderful! I got the chicken Marsala and it was not good… at all.. zero flavor.. no sauce.. overcooked pasta… i still ate it but .. I wouldn’t order it again.. highly recommend using more Marsala wine and reducing the wine with the chicken.

I tried this branch as it was closer, and I figured all restaurants of the same name have comparable fare. I couldn't have been more wrong. I've ordered numerous times from Illiano's in Colchester and have been amazed! At Colchester the thick crust of the sicilian, loaded with cheese out to the edges and a full box of pizza loaded to the sides of the box ae standard. The stuffed meat lovers there is also delicious, almost like a delicious stromboli filled with equal amounts of all the meats. This was nothing like that. The sicilian style here is almost like a pizza hut crust, cheese falls within an inch and a half of the edge of the crust and the crust is about half the thickness of what I am accustomed to in Colchester. The meat lovers in Norwich tastes as if it's 80% italian sausage, is about half as full, and lacks heavily on the cheese ratio, not impressive at all. I'm sitting here eating it because, well, I paid for it, but I'm just thinking about the next time I'll order from Colchester for the real treat. If you live close to both or if you have only been eating Norwich branch, do yourself a favor and get to Colchester. I'd rate Norwich at 5/10 and Colchester at 9/10. Enjoy!!
All food was good I especially liked the homemade bread My sister enjoyed one of the specials stuffed shells, manicotti, and lasagna The service gets an A

Look at the toppings on this pizza. First 2” from the crust - no thing on it. Clever trick. Loaded with onion and peppers. Not so much with meat. And that’s special with the special price.
Every Thursday, I stop by Iliano’s Grill for my favorite pizza with extra barbecue sauce and extra cut. What makes the visit so special is the amazing counter worker, Liz. Every time I call to place my order, she already knows it’s me. Before I even say anything, she says, “You want your large barbecue pizza, right?” It always makes me smile because it shows how much she pays attention and cares about her customers.
When I come in to pick up my pizza, Liz is always there with her big smile, greeting everyone so kindly. She gives out little samples, chats with customers, and somehow remembers everyone’s orders. One time, I saw her recognize a guy named Steve and remember his large Buffalo pizza without him even asking! It’s amazing how she remembers so many people and still treats everyone like family. Liz is truly a sweetheart and one of the main reasons I look forward to going to Iliano’s Grill every Thursday.

I had the pizza delivered by Slice, and it arrived cold. I am less than 2 miles away, so there is no excuse. Also, the pizza tasted very salty.
