This is my favorite restaurant in Norwich. The food is phenomenal. The service is impeccable. Thank you Jessica and Matt for always giving me exceptional service. Their Appetizer, the seafood bruscetta is excellent. I always get the chicken martini. The asparagus and risotto is excellent combination on the chicken. Their filet mignon is wonderful. Also bread fresh out of the oven

Can’t rate the food or service or atmosphere because the place is not handicap accessible.

Wheelchair accessibility: Couldn’t even get into the restaurant through the hotel. They have handicapped parking but no access.

I have been here for funeral luncheons and have been very impressed with both the service and the quality of food. So sadly when the day came that I had to arrange for a funeral luncheon I telephoned the restaurant on a Tuesday evening. A young man took my name and number and said he'd have someone get right back to me.

Being swamped with last minute details for funeral arrangements, making calls to friends and relatives and cleaning out the room at the nursing home when the decedent had been residing I had little time for much else.

Four days have passed. No return call. I have since employed the services of an out of town restaurant who was very happy to work with me.

I would have called to complain but that seemed rather pointless. Good marks for food and atmosphere but one star for poor communication.

Food was AMAZING!! The Prime Rib was perfectly done and the sides that came with it were tasty and well-paired with the main dish. The service was also AMAZING! Kim was out server and she was attentive and personable and took very good care of us.

My wife and I attended a seminar by Trusty. My wife had steak and I had the salmon. Both were excellent.

It has been over 16 years since I last had this place. The family if I remember right, were the last to run Olympic Pizza on West Main before it's closure, which was my favorite place to eat at. It is a lot more formal than I remembered it being, I felt a little underdressed. But with that said, I ordered the 22oz porterhouse with the risotto and vegetables, and it did not disappoint. Steak was seasoned well, risotto nice and creamy, no crunchyness. Our server was very kind and checked in on us regularly. Menu selection is a little limited, but I expected as much being a more higher end place than say a Chili's or Ruby Tuesday's. Will definitely have to return again, and I'll make sure I don't look like I just came from the beach lol.

Lived in Norwich for twenty years and have never had dinner here. The food was excellent. I have been GM of numerous restaurants, if Prime tightens up the service, they will be top notch. Service was good, but very inexperienced. Cesar dressing was some of the best I have had. Fresh vegetables, creamy mashed pot, hot bread. You should never serve bread before the guests order, you want them to order apps. Also, really good desserts. Chicken Francaise was cooked to perfection.

The ambiance appeared to be somewhat outdated, particularly in the area where we were seated. However, the steaks were truly exceptional, the mashed potatoes were delightful, and the flourless cake was both flavorful and smooth. I would certainly consider returning to this establishment in the future.

I'm sorry, but I was substantially LESS than impressed. First and most importantly, the food itself was nothing to write home about. The atmosphere reminded me of the back room in any local bar and grill anywhere in the country ( which in some sad pathetic way, made it somewhat comfortable- because it definitely didn't feel like we were eating out at anyplace fancy) but it was clean and errr well at least it's clean. For a steakhouse, they really push the fish, burgers and chicken, but then again maybe they actually know how to cook those because well I attempted the steak and let's just say they have been tried, they have been judged, and they have been found wanting.

I’ll keep it simple. Steak was burnt and wasn’t a good cut for a filet. The baked potato was burnt. Service was decent. Way too expensive for what it was, for half the price go up the road to the log cabin and get a great steak.
