Cant bring your toddler because they will complain about noise and you can’t celebrate a small birthday for your kid because you will get kicked out.
The staff here are all extremely friendly and helpful. The food and snacks are quite good considering it's just a hotel bistro. The bistro is located in the lobby, and it was hot and stuffy. It's 89 degrees outside today and I think their AC just wasn't keeping up.

Very beautiful hotel and nice workers they where very nice and helpful deff will come again 😊😉
I didn’t know what to expect stepping into this hotel. Once inside, the main lobby had a lounge, snack section to the left, breakfast/bar area, and courteous front desk staff. My boyfriend and I were so impressed once we entered the King bed suite. There are three rooms plus a spacious balcony. The living room area is modern with a kitchenette to the left that takes up the wall. Included is a sink, mini fridge, microwave, and a Keurig machine. The bedroom area is a good size with a plush king bed, dresser with tv, two side tables, and a chair. The sink is outside the the bathroom and very roomy. The shower is a walk in with the toilet close by. Around the hotel is clean with a gym, pool, and area for lounging outside plus barbecue grill. If you’re in CT for the casinos, you’re better off staying here. Way more affordable and upgraded. Definitely coming back since I discovered this hidden gem.
Terrible experience. Rude front desk employees. Would absolutely not recommend this hotel. We are Bonvoy Elite members and have never encountered the type of rude service we had at this hotel. I would not recommend staying at this hotel under any conditions. There are plenty of other great options for lodging if your travels happen to take you to Eastern Connecticut, which are far superior to this poor excuse for a hotel. This hotel deserves the lowest rating, especially with regard to service; I would give it negative stars if I could.
In general this is a nice hotel. Recently updated and an amazing heated pool. Our room was clean. Now, the Bistro needs to improve. The prices are too high in compare to the quality of the food. Also, the elevator needs to be carpet cleaned. The hot tub should be in use. TV too small. I would have love to give a better rating.
I do not recommend this hotel. They assigned me to room 217 which they know to be a problem. It is right over the lobby and all I heard and felt all night was the door slamming and vibrating. I was also charged for breakfast, and as my dad is an Elite Bonvoy member we were supposed to receive a free breakfast. I filed a case and heard nothing for 2 months. I called back twice and finally got an email response—“no compensation will be given”. Unprofessional lack of response and clearly no caring. I cancelled my future reservations. Terrible—I could not sleep it with intermittent banging and vibration.
Older Courtyard by in good condition. Check in thru mobile key was easy, night auditor was friendly, and room was overall comfortable. Only stayed for one night because we were seeing a comedy at Foxwood Casino. Would most probably stay here again.
Really tired of this no room cleaning crap. We agreed to “every other day” cleaning which never happened. Enough already, stop, the excuses Marriott. Plus you wouldn’t believe how expensive this room was for three nights, hint “five figures”.
We are used to better service from a Marriott Courtyard. In all fairness the room was very clean and comfortable, however there were problems. We requested housekeeping service and the strange thing was, they came in and emptied the garbage and cleaned the bathroom and never did the beds! I called and asked a third time for the room to be done and the front desk person said he would try........well, no one ever came to finish the room. And this was after making a request on the app, a request when we checked in and another request in person. Breakfast was supposedly included, that never happened. It was never explained to us how to get breakfast. I went to the area where breakfast/coffee, etc. was served but you had to pay for it. I didn't mind but don't tell me it's included and then never explain how to go about getting it. We never got an itemized bill, just a total on the BonVoy app. The grounds are a mess, weeds coming up through cracks in the pavement, dead bushes. Very neglected land run down. It's too bad because for over $600 for two nights we expected more of what we usually get. We like Marriott and stay in them often. Someone in management needs to take a look at this property because if this is where Marriott is headed, this will be our last stay at one.

Very friendly staff, and also helpful. We only stayed one night and the hotel was perfect for that, not expensive, comfortable, and convenient to the freeway. As with other Courtyard's, the Grill staff was also very helpful, friendly, and good.
A HORRIBLE experience. I am a platinum member, travel often for business and booked a room at this hotel. I checked in before I arrived through my mobile app and received a text confirmation. I arrived at the hotel and they stated that there was 1 room available but they could not get into the room. The man at the desk stated that he did not have an override code and therefore could not access the room and had no other rooms available. I am a woman it was 10pm and I was traveling and had no place to stay. I had to drive several hours through the night to get back home. I used points to book the room and they are still not credited to my account... Another thing I need to fight about. I am beyond frustrated!!
Warm and friendly staff, great variety for quick snacks and drinks.
I was very pleased with my recent one night stay here. My daughter and I stopped in for an evening during a road trip. The location was conveniently off the highway and the reception we received late at night was warm and professional. The room was updated and clean, the shower had great water pressure. Checkout was easy and again professional and friendly. The price was very reasonable. I was really happy with the stay and would recommend without hesitation.
It was a $24 Uber ride from the train station and a $20 ride to and from Mohegan Sun. So it probably would have been just as well to stay at the latter. Mateo expedited check-in and brought my bag to my room as I had an Uber waiting. It was safe, clean and looked like most Courtyards do. However, it’s next to a highway and staff were out blowing leaves all morning, so it was rather noisy.
