Today was our first visit to Undergrounds Record Cafe and we LOVED it. It was such a pleasant surprise. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, the music vibe was cool, and the food was PHENOMENAL!!!! We were pleased and impressed that pretty much everything is made in house and they make their own breads. The eggs benedict was absolutely delicious. The Hollandaise sauce was literally the BEST I have ever had. Can’t wait to go back and try more things on the menu. We went home with full bellies and a new old record album!

We were visiting family and they recommended trying this cafe for breakfast.
We arrived late morning and were able to find parking right outside the cafe.
The owner was very friendly as was the rest of the staff. It was very clean and welcoming.
The back wall was set up with old vintage vinyl albums that they sell. They buy and sell albums. Pretty cool set-up.
The coffee was very good as well the food. We had the pumpkin french toast, apple cinnamon pancakes and breakfast burrito.
All were prepared nicely and were delicious.
Thanks to my sister-in-law for recommending this place. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.

Given all the reviews, I'm thinking our experience was atypical. An hour and half to eat breakfast. Food was good, the owner is very nice and the records are very cool! We will give it another try.

You have to eat breakfast here! The food is very good, in fact, it's better than good. They serve bacon in thick slabs, and the home fries are amazing. Very cool setting, it's a diner but more. They have hundreds of records from all genres for sale and i had a blast looking through the old metal albums from the 80's!

First time at Undergrounds this morning. I had a delicious breakfast burrito and coffee. It was so big a asked to have it cut in half so I could finish it later. Good location, nice folks and an eclectic collection of vinyl. I'll be back.

The best cheeseburger I have tried!
If you have not been to Undergrounds Records Cafe, you owe it to yourself to check them out.
The food is excellent, breakfast and lunch fair, with an incredible touch from Nick the chef.
It is family owned and staffed, all wonderful people.
Their breads are cooked in house, the sourdough is delicious.
Check them out, you won't be disappointed.
Oh, they're always spinning some great vinyl as well.

Truly a hidden gem, some of the best food I have had in CT. Known for their thick cut bacon and homemade bread. They not only have great food but also has a good variety of old and new vinyl records.

This is a must see spot! We sat at the counter and had great conversation with the owner Nick. Talked music over truly delicious food. We had the burger, turkey club, and eggs Benedict. Everything was out of this world and on homemade bread. The turkey club was the best turkey club we’ve ever had. The thick cut bacon was delicious and cooked perfectly. Their record collection was extensive, reasonably priced, and had hidden gems.
