Great food, great service.
Good Italian, pizza is either napolitona or New Haven style thin crust.
Alfonso is consistently delicious and is a great place to dine with friends or family in Old Saybrook.
Honestly was very surprised by the quality of food, NYC quality but for 70% less! The only thing weird about this place was walking to it across an abandoned building, very strange location, but would recommend to anyone this happened to find themselves in this part of CT.

Took one star off the atmosphere because it may be too noisy and crowded for some people but I don't mind!

We were headed back to Madison from Mystic and had heard about this place. It's apparently a pizza place but very nice restaurant. There was a line already when we got there at the opening. Our server was very efficient and friendly, however, the food was terrible. I had the bolognese. It was very dry and very bland. One of our friends had the spaghetti and couldn't finish it, complaining the pasta wasn't right. It's too bad, looked like a nice place.

Delicious and delicious! Don’t be fooled by the exterior - the interior is warm and welcoming. The staff is so friendly and helpful in deciding what to get. The food here is absolutely incredible. Pizza is delicious. We have been for lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed. We would highly recommend!!
