I stopped by on St Patricks day and bought a couple of Irish soda bread and it was awesome. The case was full of great looking pastry. Its very convenient right next to James drug on main street in Old Saybrook
Delicious breakfasts of egg cocottes and omelets, and plenty of fresh viennoiserie to choose from (croissants etc.) I had the cocotte with carmelized onions- it came piping hot in a mini casserole with a side of super potatoes and a toasted slab of baguette. Cozy brunch of delectable, artfully plated French-inspired egg-related dishes, served piping hot by friendly and efficient staff. Good portion size and fair prices. We perused the French cuisine items for sale along the walls after eating. Also bought pastries and bread fresh from the OUTSTANDING bakery at the heart of the offerings. A Francophile's paradise! We'll DEFINITELY go back!
