Everything about our viste was exceptional. We didn't have a reservation on this very busy week night but Jamie, the GM, made every effort to accommodate. Last night after doing an errand in Old Saybrook, we decided to stop in to Liv’s Oyster Bar to have a bite to eat. We had a delightful evening and meal. Our servers, Shelby and Hayden, were terrific. The turn around time between ordering and when we received our food was exceptional. We opted for the clam chowder and shrimp cocktail for starters which were both excellent. If you have not yet had the chance to visit Livs then you might just be missing out on excellent food and drinks. Bar staff are excellent there is a large long bar with seating. Restaurant is a good size. Menu hits every spot for you and the company you have with you. Fresh oyster 🦪 from local and not so local. Michelle was our server excellent. Street parking. Old saybrook is good for walking after your meal.
