Regrettably, we were not impressed by the food. Very fishy smell, not typical of quality seafood. Scallops were tender but not much flavor. Shrimp, was not good. Wine list? You have to ask the bartender.

Had a wonderful birthday meal. It was the day before St. Patrick's Day so the specials were Irish oriented. My husband had the whiskey honey glazed salmon which he said was very tasty. My daughter had the traditional corned beef and cabbage and my son had Shepard's pie. Not much was left to bring home in doggie bags. Lots of nice wood paneling inside and we were seated near the fireplace. The grandkids even enjoyed it.Parking: The restaurant is right off of Route 9 in Old Saybrook. There is parking in both the front and the back of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Walk up ramp for a cess to front door and outdoor seating when the weather is nice.

Everything was perfect. Excellent food, great service, and thank you Doc for recommending the specials. I had potstickers to start and a wonderful seafood risotto. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could.

My fiancé and I just left the restaurant and couldn't say better things about this place - perfect outdoor patio for a summer evening and delicious food and drinks. We both had margaritas which came out delicious - then my fiancé had the meatballs (delish!) and I had the baked scallops. Both meals hit the spot and had wonderful service. Would go back again the next time we're in Old Saybrook!

Disappointed .... I have been eyeing this place for a while now, looking cute from the outside, and was excited to finally try it out. I made reservations, though you probably don't need to. When we arrived we were seated quickly they have booths, tables, a bar area and outdoor seating. The decor inside was nice. There were 4 adults and 1 child in our party. The waitress came over and we asked for a drink menu (they don't have one) ok so we asked what they do have which was pretty much limited stuff from the bar. Ordered a bottle of white wine. It was ok. I ordered the fish tacos and my husband ordered the luingini and clams. Both were nothing to rave about, flavor wasn't there, the pasta was very bland. The presentation was nothing special. It was disappointing. Im glad that I finally checked it out but won't be going back.

Decided to stop in right when they opened for a quick set of appetizers and a snack with a friend. Service and atmosphere were excellent, food was mediocre. Drink was good, but they had no drink menu when asked which is unusual. Calamari sauce was very bland for the name "firecracker". Asian tuna nachos were the opposite and too heavy on the wasabi. Oysters came with 1 fork and no spoon for the mignonette which also tasted off. Based on reviews from friends I was pretty disappointed especially for the price point, but I will probably try again for dinner service once the kitchen is more settled. Would not reorder anything I had.
