Being from the south. and always worked in customer service, I've NEVER been treated so rudely as we were treated by The Dive Bar. “This place is a hole in wall. And you know what they say about those. Hidden Gems.... The food was delicious, customer service was fantastic. Before we can finish our pitcher waitress was back to ask if we needed more or anything else in that matter. We were able to watch the Football game we wanted with the volume up to hear it. (reason for the 5). Only con wish the TVs were bit bigger and more to watch various games at once. Not saying there was not other but were far apart where i had to turn around which a way to quickly catch Red Zone or another game or Yanks game. All in all great place to go with FB crew. FYI not open Mondays currently. so MNF is no go. Maybe we can convince them to start. ;-)“

“We were on vacation in Connecticut. We'd had a couple meals in Milford that weren't the greatest. On our last night in town, we decided to try Bar 3 Thirty Three. Right away, the wonderful waitress came over and asked us what we wanted to drink, she was very cheerful. We had drinks, ordered our food, and chatted on and off with the waitress. The food was excellent. My wife had the lobster roll sliders and I had the Philly chicken sliders, both came with fries. Absolutely delicious. We'd definitely go there again.“

“Well personally "The Jump" (Taurus) is my hood district bar since I was 21yrs old (1998) and I'm 44 now because I'm from "The Ville" irrelevantly speaking. In spite of being a little rough in the late 90's which gave "US" a bad reputation the violence calm down almost tremendously, but Hell, what bar doesn't have a little violence to it especially if it so happens to be in a rough neighborhood. But overall I rate my favorite bar a 95% (shiiiit nothing's perfect) ✌?✌?“

“We stumbled upon this place and the owner was amazing and welcomimg. The bartenders were just as pleasant and friendly. We stayed and ended up enjoying our entire evening there and felt like family by the time we left. We couldn't leave before enjoying Chaz's delicious food... The fish platter is a must try! “Went there last Saturday, August 3rd at 12:30 pm and had the best time ever. I spoke to Riley prior to going asking about the chocolate martinis and she told me that Allisa made really good ones. When we got there to celebrate a girl's day out Riley was there, our waitress Shelly pointed her out so I could go over and introduce myself. Not only did EVERYONE treat us like we had been going there for years and were family, but Alissa made REALLY GREAT DRINKS and the FOOD WAS FANTASTIC. My sister had a couple cosmos, and my other friend and I had the chocolate martinis which were WONDERFUL!!! We had chicken tacos, fries and the Burbon pork belly bites were SOOOO GOOD you would want to slap anyone who tried to grab any. This was truly a good time and although it was busy, loud and was SOOOOOO MUCH FUN because everyone was fabulous. I will look forward to going back next time I'm in Connecticut.“

“I’ve been once and it was awesome but my second time back, my husband and I had a horrible experience. 1-2pm on a Saturday in JUNE, there was ONE waitress (who was lovely) but took forever because she was waiting on other tables AND bartending. The food was horrible, (second time around) & was undercooked. The only thing we enjoyed was our 1 beer and 1 glass of wine. I hate to say but I don’t think we’d give it another shot unfortunately. Too bad it’s a great location and close to home.“

“HOD is a tragic attempt on a neighborhood bar. The food is gross and service is shotty at best. They are out of a multitude of food and beverage items regularly. Sandra the owner is always drunk, sloppy, and looking for a hand out. Her staff too. There is zero reason to ever patronize this establishment. Save yourself the aggravation and possible food poisoning and keep driving. There are plenty of great places to stop in the neighborhood“
