Never had an issue and I’ve been here many, many times. Always cooked to perfection. “Whenever I am in town I always make sure to get falafel over rice from here at least once. Its so yummy, saucy and optional spicy. Definitely try rice platter i would say. There are plenty seating available too for dine in. Staff is sometimes rude and non welcoming but not too bad.“

“I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I used to get Halal Guys on the green in New Haven for years and was so disappointed when it closed. I’d say Shah’s is even better and more authentic to the “Halal food truck” roots. A combo plate is enough for two meals. Definitely a go-to spot.“

“I was staying in the area and wanted a safe flavorful meal. I tried shahs and was happy w my meal. The guys who made my falafel bowl was very helpful and friendly. The food was good and as expected. Wish the red sauce was spicier but overall it was a good portion and good price for what it is.
