“I went with a friend. We sat at the bar area and had some wings. They were great. I had several Guinness. Very fresh and clean tasting.! Our bartenderJaime was on point with us and kept a good eye on everyone else. She was also very sociable, friendly and professional. I would go back.“

“Good bar grub - their pizza is sourced from some of the best in New Haven - but the Chai Martini is next level. I'm a tea guy but I like espresso martinis, and this just has chai instead which is top notch delicious. A nice drink in a Shelton dive, but the bartenders and regulars are also some of the nicest people. Come by!“

The back patio has scenic wharf side views of both the Thames River traffic going by and a stream of Amtrak trains on the North East Corridor. “I’ve been going to Tipsy Tomato since it opened. Recently, they have decreased the size significantly of their large pizzas. The toppings increased in price by 33% and there seem to be fewer toppings on the pizza. If you order a two topping pizza half pepperoni and half peppers you get charged for two full topping prices. Was always a favorite of their pizza, but I am quickly losing my enthusiasm.“
